Free agent Ryan Hollins visited the Miami Heat on Friday, per Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears, and he also has interest from the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs.
The Heat haven't made an offer to Hollins, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, but they're considering him, along with Nazr Mohammed, Andray Blatche and Emeka Okafor.
Hollins, who turns 30 in October, is a career backup. The center spent the last two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 2.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 9.5 minutes per game. Despite being 7-feet tall, Hollins has never been a good rebounder, but he is athletic and can block shots.
This past week, Ekpe Udoh signed with the Clippers and Greg Stiemsma signed with the Raptors, so the market for reserve big men is getting thinner. The Spurs have also been said to be interested in Gustavo Ayon.
