Always savvy in free agency, the Spurs have added a good, physical, young player to improve their interior depth.
According to Yahoo Sports, free agent forward Jeff Pendergraph has agreed to a two-year deal with the Spurs. Pendergraph spent last season with the Pacers, playing sparingly.
The Spurs have had depth issues inside for the past couple of seasons and while they just re-signed Tiago Splitter, DeJuan Blair is a free agent and seems to be on his way out of town. So to restock and add a little interior help, the Spurs targeted Pendergraph.
Pendergraph, 26, averaged 3.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 37 games for the Pacers last season.
