Now that's how you cap a comeback.
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant hit a game-winning jumper against the Los Angeles Lakers with less than 20 seconds left in Game 2 of a Western Conference semifinals series.
The Thunder won Game 2 77-75 thanks to a 9-0 run in the final two minutes to close the game. Durant provided the winning hoop by using a Kendrick Perkins screen to get a switch onto Lakers center Andrew Bynum. Durant dribbled hard to his right and turned the corner on Bynum, getting to the baseline, where Lakers forward Pau Gasol was waiting. Durant pulled up from about 10-feet to shoot a one-handed jumper over Gasol and the shot rolled around and in with 18.6 seconds remaining.
"He's a great player, that's what great players do," Lakers coach Mike Brown said.
Durant finished with a team-high 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals on 9-for-15 shooting in 42 minutes.
Oklahoma City leads the series 2-0. Game 3 is set for Friday in Los Angeles at Staples Center.
