Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe said on Sirius XM NBA radio that his alma mater, Kentucky, could beat the Philadelphia 76ers. Philly point guard Tony Wroten -- guess what -- disagreed with him.

From CSN Philly's John Gonzalez:

Before they played the Celtics at the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday, a few of Sixers were asked about Bledsoe’s remarks. Hollis Thompson and Brandon Davies decided not to comment, instead designating Tony Wroten as their spokesman on the issue. Before an entire question could be asked about what Bledsoe said, Wroten responded.

“Nah, they can’t beat us,” Wroten replied. “He’s crazy.”

So you obviously heard what he said. Was it insulting?

“Yeah, it’s insulting,” Wroten said. “He might be serious, but I know Bledsoe. I’m not going to take it personally.”

Philadelphia lost 101-90 to Boston on Wednesday, falling to 0-11 on the season. The undefeated, No. 1-ranked Wildcats destroyed No. 5-ranked Kansas 72-40 on Tuesday. CSN Philly quoted a "longtime NBA executive" saying the Wildcats would give the Sixers a game, but I'd say Wroten is correct -- Bledsoe is crazy for this one.
