Atlanta Hawks forward Tracy McGrady rolled his right ankle during the second quarter of Game 3 of an Eastern Conference first round playoff series against the Boston Celtics. McGrady left for the locker room shortly before halftime after apparently coming down on the foot of Celtics guard Rajon Rondo while shooting a jump shot.
McGrady left the court after scoring 10 points, grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing 1 assist after shooting 5-for-9 in 16 minutes.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported during halftime that McGrady suffered a right ankle sprain and that he would return to the game for the second half.
The series is tied at one game apiece.
