Monday night's exhibition game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets was interesting mostly for the fact that Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash started together for the first time since March 2013. (Bryant played quite well, by the way.) It's also notable, though, that Quincy Miller hit an awesome, but utterly meaningless shot at the final buzzer. It was from about 70 feet, and it meant the Lakers won the preseason game by three points instead of six.
Hilariously, the officials had to review the heave. It counted.
