The Warriors weren't always famous for Stephen Curry 3-pointers, showboating and Draymond Green screaming as loud as possible. They were once one of the downtrodden NBA franchises unable to get out of their own way with little accomplishment. However, there was one team that stood above the rest in recent franchise history: the "We Believe" Warriors from the 2007 NBA playoffs.
That group did the impossible. When the playoffs extended to seven-game series it became increasingly rare for the 8-seed to pull off an upset against the 1-seed. The "We Believe" squad did that just that. Led by Stephen Jackson, Baron Davis and Jason Richardson, the Warriors pulled off one of the greatest upsets in NBA history when they knocked off MVP Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks.
Even though the Warriors lost in the next round to the Utah Jazz, they are remembered fondly by Bay Area fans.
The Warriors wanted to recognize the accomplishments of this squad, so they brought back those fan favorites and honored them after the first quarter of Game 1 in the Western Conference semifinals.

This is an awesome move by the Warriors. The franchise has changed a lot in 10 years, but many Warriors fans will say the "We Believe" team is still their favorite. They endeared themselves to fans with their never give up attitude, and that's why they'll always hold a place in the hearts of longtime fans.
