The Pistons have been the surprise of the NBA season thus far, with Detroit sitting atop the Eastern Conference with a sterling 15-2 record. On Wednesday, the Pistons will travel to take on the Boston Celtics, who are off to a mediocre 9-8 start. According to the latest NBA odds, the Celtics are favored by 1.5 points at home, while the over/under for total points scored is 227.5.  SportsLine's advanced computer model is backing Boston, which has won four of its last five games at home, to cover the spread in 58% of simulations. 

The model is also backing the Miami Heat (-6.5) to cover the spread at home against the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Golden State Warriors (-1.5) to cover in a star-studded showdown against the Houston Rockets. In addition, the Celtics are coming off a 138-129 victory over the Magic, a game in which Jaylen Brown stuffed the stat sheet with 35 points, eight assists and four rebounds. SportsLine's model is calling for Boston to secure the 120-116 victory on Wednesday, helping the Celtics cover the spread in 58% of simulations. 

Heat -6.5 vs. Bucks (-115, DraftKings)

Miami has been on fire offensively this season, leading the league with 124.9 points per game on average. Guard Norman Powell is scoring 25.4 points per contest, while Bam Adebayo is contributing 19.5 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. The Bucks, meanwhile, limp into tonight's contest having lost each of their last five games. The model is backing Miami to walk away with a comfortable double-digit victory on Wednesday, helping the Heat cover the spread 63% of the time.

Warriors -1.5 vs. Rockets (+100, DraftKings)

The Warriors snapped a three-game losing streak with a 134-117 victory over the Jazz on Monday. Superstar Steph Curry led the way for Golden State with 31 points, while Jimmy Butler added 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds. The Warriors are also 6-1 against the spread in the past seven games at home, a trend the model expects to continue on Wednesday. According to the model, Golden State covers the spread 60% of the time.
