  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Available Saturday

Teague (knee) will be available for Saturday's matchup with the Bucks, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Teague was considered probable heading into Game 1, so no surprise here. He could see some backup point guard minutes behind Jrue Holiday, but he is not expected to to be heavily involved in the rotation.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Probable for Game 1

Teague is probable for Saturday's matchup against the Heat due to left knee soreness. The issue for Teague presumably came up in practice or a workout, as he wasn't dealing with the issue during the end of the regular season. Assuming he's available, he should see backup minutes behind Jrue Holiday. However, it's unlikely he sees enough action to be fantasy relevant.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Vintage effort Sunday

Teague mustered 23 points (5-11 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 10-12 FT), seven assists, three rebounds, three steals and a block across 34 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Bulls. Teague got the start since the Bucks rested all their regulars for the regular-season finale, and the former Hawks floor general took advantage of the chance to post his best individual performance in recent memory. This shouldn't work as a benchmark for Teague's potential numbers going forward, however, as he's slated to move back to the bench for the postseason while seeing limited minutes as Jrue Holiday's backup.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Not on injury report

Teague (abdomen) is not on the injury report ahead of Wednesday's game against Washington. An strained abdominal muscle kept Teague out of Tuesday's win over Brooklyn, but it looks like he'll be back to availability off the bench in the second half of the back-to-back. Over his last five appearances, Teague has averaged 4.0 points and 3.2 assists in 14.4 minutes.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Out Tuesday

Teague (abdomen) will not play Tuesday against the Nets. Teague has been giving the Bucks decent backup point guard minutes since coming over from Boston (by way of Orlando), but he suffered a strained abdominal muscle during Sunday's win over Brooklyn, limiting him to 11 minutes off the bench. Milwaukee hasn't released a timetable, but it's very possible Teague could be looking at a multi-game absence.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Won't return Sunday

Teague exited Sunday's win over the Nets due to an abdominal strain, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Teague came off the bench Sunday and recorded two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in 11 minutes prior to his departure. It's not yet clear whether his injury will force him to miss Tuesday's game against Brooklyn.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Mostly struggles in win

Teague posted five points (1-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one assist in Wednesday's win over Minnesota. The veteran saw 16 minutes of action off the bench and didn't make much of an impact, though it didn't matter with the game essentially out of reach by the end of the third quarter. Teague flashed with a 19-point, six-assist showing in a spot start against Charlotte last week, and while he could be worth a DFS flyer on certain nights, he's not fantasy relevant for the most part.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Responds well as starter

Teague posted 19 points (8-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six assists, two rebounds and a steal across 28 minutes in Friday's loss against the Hornets. Teague replaced Jrue Holiday (knee) as the Bucks changed their entire starting lineup due to a rash of injuries. The veteran floor general took advantage of his chance to score in double digits for the second time over his last three appearances. He's averaging 8.8 points and 3.8 assists across 18.0 minutes per game since debuting for the Bucks earlier this month, and he's expected to move back to his usual bench role as soon as Holiday is ready to return -- something that could happen as early as Sunday when the Bucks visit the Magic.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Starting Friday

Teague will start at point gaurd in Friday's matchup with the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports. Teague will replace Jrue Holiday in the starting lineup. The Bucks will be without their entire usual starting lineup, so the newly acquired point guard should be in line for a healthy workload.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Efficient off bench Tuesday

Teague scored 15 points (5-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT) while adding three assists and a rebound in only 16 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's loss to the Warriors. The veteran point guard gave the Bucks a surprising boost after managing only four total points in his first two games for the club. Teague won't have a significant role in the backcourt rotation as long as Jrue Holiday is healthy, but he does provide an insurance policy for Milwaukee and is still capable of the occasional productive performance in limited court time.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Gets 13 minutes in debut

Teague (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) played 13 minutes off the bench Friday in Milwaukee's 127-109 win over Portland, scoring two points (1-1 FG) and adding two assists, two blocks and one rebound. Making his Milwaukee debut, Teague stepped in as the primary backup to starting point guard Jrue Holiday. Teague's existing relationship with head coach Mike Budenholzer from their time together in Atlanta should help the veteran guard with his transition to Milwaukee, but don't expect the 32-year-old to see his minutes increase much from this level, if at all.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Available for debut

Teague (COVID-19 protocols) will be available to make his debut for the Bucks in Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Teague has cleared the league's health and safety protolos, but it remains to be seen what type of role he will play for the Bucks right away. He is expected to help provide depth in the backcourt.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Questionable due to protocols

Teague (COVID-19 protocols) is questionable for Friday's game against Portland, Jamie Hudson of NBC Sports Northwest reports. Teague appears to have entered into the league's health and safety protocols as he hasn't played for Milwaukee since being signed by the team. He appears to at least have a chance to play in Friday's game.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Set for Bucks debut

Teague isn't on the inactive list for Wednesday's game against the Lakers, Ted Davis of the Milwaukee Bucks Radio Network reports. The 32-year-old signed with Milwaukee earlier this week and is poised to debut with his new team Wednesday. Teague averaged 6.9 points, 2.1 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 18.2 minutes over 34 appearances with the Celtics before being traded to Orlando and subsequently waived by the Magic last week.

  • Bucks' Jeff Teague: Signing with Milwaukee

Teague will sign with the Bucks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Celtics sent Teague to Orlando at the deadline as part of the Evan Fournier deal, but he was promptly waived and hit the free-agency pool. The veteran guard will now reunite with his former coach in Atlanta, Mike Budenholzer, and he'll bring much-needed backcourt depth to one of the top teams in the East. Teague could essentially fill the role vacated by D.J. Augustin, whom the Bucks sent to Houston when they acquired P.J. Tucker.

  • Jeff Teague: Traded and waived

Teague was traded from the Celtics to the Magic on Thursday in exchange for Evan Fournier. Teague will be waived by Orlando, Jared Weiss of The Athletic reports. Teague started just five games for the Celtics over the first half of the season and averaged 6.9 points and 2.1 assists over 18.2 minutes per contest. He's been told that he won't need to report to the Magic since the team intends to waive him. Even if Teague is claimed on waivers, he'll likely have to settle for a depth role.

  • Celtics' Jeff Teague: Drops 15 points in 17 minutes

Teague played 17 minutes off the bench and totaled 15 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and a steal during Wednesday's loss to the Bucks. Teague made the most of his spot start for Kemba Walker on Monday, and the momentum apparently carried over to Wednesday's performance. He's now scored in double figures in consecutive games for just the second time this season, and he's hit on 78.9 percent of his field-goal attempts in these two contests. Teague will look to continue this hot streak when these two teams take the court again Friday.

  • Celtics' Jeff Teague: Coming off bench

Teague will come off the bench Wednesday against the Bucks. As expected, with Kemba Walker (rest) returning to the lineup Wednesday, Teague will come off the bench. He's coming off a season-high 26 points during Monday's loss to the Grizzlies.

  • Celtics' Jeff Teague: Season-high 26 in loss

Teague scored 26 points (10-12 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-7 FT) to go along with six assists across 39 minutes Monday in the Celtics' 132-126 overtime loss to the Grizzlies. With Kemba Walker (rest) sitting out Monday in the second game of a back-to-back set, Teague went from out of the rotation and into the starting lineup. He was able to take advantage of the opportunity, riding some red-hot shooting from the field to a new season-high point total. Teague has put up solid numbers when filling in for Walker in the starting lineup this season with averages of 13.6 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals, but Teague won't warrant much attention for games in which both Walker and Marcus Smart are available.

  • Celtics' Jeff Teague: Starting against Grizzlies

Teague is starting Monday's game against the Grizzlies. Teague will join the starting lineup for the fifth time this season with Kemba Walker (rest) sitting out during the second half of a back-to-back set Monday. Teague didn't appear in either of the last two games but has averaged 5.2 points and 2.0 assists over 16.2 minutes per contest across his last five appearances.
