  • Mavericks' Khris Middleton: Not ready to make Mavericks debut

Middleton (recently traded) is out for Thursday's game against the Spurs.

The Mavericks' moves prior to Thursday's trade deadline still aren't official, therefore Middleton isn't yet cleared to make his Dallas debut. That could change during Saturday's meeting with San Antonio. With the team shorthanded Thursday, Max Christie, Caleb Martin and Klay Thompson could each push for minutes near the 30s.

  • Mavericks' Khris Middleton: Heading to Dallas

The Wizards traded Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley, two first-round picks and three second-round picks to the Mavericks on Wednesday in exchange for Anthony Davis (finger), Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell (illness) and Dante Exum (knee), Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

After being traded from Milwaukee to Washington ahead of last year's deadline, Middleton will now head to Dallas. The veteran forward is on an expiring $33.3 million contract and is set to enter unrestricted free agency this offseason. He isn't guaranteed a starting role in Dallas but will provide a veteran presence for the team if he isn't bought out. In 34 regular-season outings with the Wizards this season, Middleton averaged 10.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 24.3 minutes per game. He can be considered doubtful for Thursday against the Spurs.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Continues posting quality numbers

Middleton notched 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 132-101 loss to the Knicks.

With the trade deadline approaching, Middleton continues to fortify his value on the market. The veteran forward is averaging 13.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.6 three-pointers in 25.1 minutes per tilt in his last seven games, shooting 42.3 percent from deep. Middleton has started all 34 of his appearances for the Wizards, though his role and fantasy value could be altered if Washington ends up moving the 34-year-old sharpshooter.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Good to go Sunday

Middleton (knee) is good to go for Sunday's game against the Kings.

After missing Friday's loss to the Lakers for maintenance purposes, the veteran wing will be returning to the rotation Sunday. He'll be a name to watch at the upcoming trade deadline with the Wizards rumored to be sellers.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Won't play Friday

Middleton (knee) won't play Friday against the Lakers.

Middleton will sit out for maintenance-related reasons for the second leg of this back-to-back set. During Thursday's game against the Bucks, Middleton logged 26 minutes with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Hits for 19 against Portland

Middleton supplied 19 points (7-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals over 27 minutes during Tuesday's 115-111 victory over the Trail Blazers.

It was Middleton's best scoring effort since Opening Night, when he dropped 23 points in a revenge game against the Bucks. The veteran forward missed the Wizards' prior contest with a sore foot, and nagging injuries have cost him three games in January, but he may be finding his form. Over his last five appearances, Middleton is averaging 14.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 three-pointers, and 1.2 steals in 27.4 minutes.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Good to go Tuesday

Middleton (foot) is available for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Middleton will shed his questionable tag due to left foot soreness and return from a one-game absence Tuesday. Over nine January appearances, the veteran forward has averaged 9.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 23.7 minutes per contest.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Iffy for Tuesday

Middleton (foot) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Middleton is in jeopardy of missing his second straight contest, but the veteran remains day-to-day. If he's unable to play, the Wizards could rely more on Will Riley. Bilal Coulibaly (back) is questionable for the Wizards.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Not playing Saturday

Middleton (foot) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Hornets.

Middleton will sit out Saturday's contest while recovering from a left foot injury, and his next opportunity to play is Tuesday against the Trail Blazers. Rookie first-rounder Will Riley will be in the Wizards' starting lineup for the first time in his NBA career due to Middleton's absence.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Iffy for Saturday

Middleton is questionable for Saturday's game against the Hornets due to left foot soreness.

The Wizards are likely to re-evaluate Middleton closer to Saturday's tipoff. If the veteran forward is unable to play against Charlotte, Justin Champagnie is a prime candidate to join the starting lineup, while Will Riley could handle a more prominent role off the bench.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Available to play

Middleton (illness) is available to play Thursday against Denver.

Middleton was previously listed as questionable, but he will give it a go Thursday. He's likely to be a big part of the game plan with Bilal Coulibaly (back) set to miss his fourth straight game.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Dealing with illness

Middleton (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against Denver.

Middleton has played a key role in recent outings with 24.3 minutes over his last five appearances. The Wizards could be getting Bilal Coulibaly (back) back from injury, while Justin Champagnie might pick up some run if Middleton is unable to give it a go.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Will play Saturday

Middleton (knee) isn't listed on the injury report for Saturday's game against the Nuggets.

Middleton took a seat for the first half of the team's back-to-back Friday due to right knee injury management, but he'll be back in action Saturday evening. The 34-year-old will try to shake out of a cold spell after averaging 8.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 21.4 minutes over his last five games.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Sitting out vs. Kings

Middleton has been ruled out for Friday's game against Sacramento due to right knee injury management.

Middleton will get a night off after appearing in three straight games for the Wizards. This should open up more opportunities for Will Riley and Justin Champagnie with Bilal Coulibaly (back) also downgraded to out.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Posts 17 points in defeat

Middleton recorded 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Wednesday's 119-105 loss to the Clippers.

Middleton logged his second-best scoring total of the season during the loss, but consistency has been hard to come by for the 34-year-old veteran. After over a decade with the Bucks, Middleton's production has dropped off considerably during his first full season with the Wizards, averaging just 9.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists over 27 games.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Non-factor in loss

Middleton finished Friday's 128-107 loss to the Pelicans with four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 21 minutes.

Middleton continues to be used sparingly despite his starting role, having now logged no more than 23 minutes in each of his past nine games. Couple that with the fact that he is typically rested whenever the team has a back-to-back set, and we have ourselves a streaming consideration, and nothing more. If he is traded, Middleton's role could change, although given his limitations, that feels unlikely.

  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Cleared from injury report

Middleton (knee) is off the injury report for Friday's game against the Pelicans.

Middleton sat out Wednesday's loss to the 76ers, which was the second half of a back-to-back for the Wizards. The veteran forward has averaged 8.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 21.5 minutes per game over his last nine outings, shooting a miserable 32.8 percent from the floor.

... See More ... See Less
  • Wizards' Khris Middleton: Won't play Wednesday

Middleton (knee) will not play Wednesday against the 76ers.

Middleton doesn't play in both games of back-to-back sets, so this is an expected maintenance day for the veteran. Corey Kispert, who took his rest day Tuesday, will likely absorb most of Middleton's minutes Wednesday.
