Wizards' CJ McCollum: Spurs late rally in victory
McCollum totaled 28 points (9-16 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), five rebounds and six assists over 39 minutes during Saturday's 130-122 victory over the Grizzlies.
McCollum and Kyshawn George were brilliant down the stretch for the Wizards, who were facing a massive deficit at halftime but were able to close the gap thanks to the dynamic duo. McCollum experienced a slight scoring dip this week against the Kings and Pacers, but he bounced back to the high-scoring ways he enjoyed earlier in the month. Coming into Saturday's game, McCollum was averaging 20.6 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 steals during the month of December.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Drops 18 in Sunday's win
McCollum racked up 18 points (8-18 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds and two assists over 34 minutes during Sunday's 108-89 victory over Indiana.
The veteran guard saw his streak of games with over 20 points end at three, but McCollum was still second on the Wizards in scoring behind Marvin Bagley's 23 points. McCollum has scored in double digits in 16 straight games, averaging 22.6 points, 3.4 assists, 3.4 threes, 3.3 boards and 0.8 steals over that stretch.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Puts up 27 points in loss
McCollum totaled 27 points (9-20 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 6-9 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Friday's 130-126 loss to the Cavaliers.
McCollum has been playing well of late, and it seems the 46-point outburst he had in the win over the Hawks on Nov. 25 allowed him to leave his early-season struggles behind. McCollum has scored at least 22 points in four of his last five appearances, averaging 23.0 points, 2.6 boards and 4.2 assists per game over that stretch. That has been his most productive stretch of the campaign by a wide margin.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Team-high 22 points in blowout loss
McCollum registered 22 points (7-15 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block over 31 minutes during the Wizards' 146-101 loss to the Celtics on Thursday.
It was an offensive struggle for the Wizards for most of Thursday's game, though McCollum was one of the bright spots with a team-high 22 points, and he tied Jordan Walsh for the second-most points in the game behind Derrick White (30). McCollum has scored 20-plus points in four of his last seven outings, and over that span he has averaged 22.1 points on 50.8 percent shooting, 3.4 assists, 2.9 rebounds, 3.3 threes and 0.9 steals over 29.9 minutes per game.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Puts up 28 points in victory
McCollum produced 28 points (11-21 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 129-126 win over the Bucks.
McCollum managed to bounce back from a tough showing Friday against the Pacers and put up 20-plus attempts from the field for just the second time in his last eight games. There's been a lack of consistency from McCollum on the offensive end so far this season that is captured perfectly by his previous two appearances, putting up 46 points Tuesday against Atlanta followed by a quiet 11-point outing Friday.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Rough night Friday
McCollum ended with 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Friday's 119-86 loss to the Pacers.
Fresh off a season-high 46 points in a win over the Hawks, McCollum came crashing back to earth Friday. In fact, his 11 points were the lowest he has scored in his past six games, continuing a season that has been full of ups and downs. Through 18 games, the veteran is averaging 17.8 points, 3.3 assists and 2.9 three-pointers in 29.7 minutes per contest.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Drops 46 points in win
McCollum amassed 46 points (17-25 FG, 10-13 3Pt, 2-4 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 37 minutes in Tuesday's 132-113 win over the Hawks.
McCollum torched the nets right out of the gate, shooting 4-for-4 from beyond the arc in the first quarter alone. He ultimately tied the Wizards' franchise record for three-pointers made in a single game en route to a season-high 46 points. The veteran guard has already recorded two 40-plus-point outings through 17 regular-season games, and he has scored at least 18 in each of Washington's last three matchups.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Lone bright spot in blowout loss
McCollum posted 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three assists, three rebounds and one steal over 26 minutes during the Wizards' 140-110 loss to the Raptors on Friday.
McCollum was the only Wizards starter to score in double digits during Friday's loss. It was his first 20-plus point outing since Nov. 8, and the veteran guard has opened the 2025-26 regular season averaging 16.4 points, 3.3 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 steals over 29.3 minutes per game. However, McCollum is connecting on just 40.5 percent of his field-goal attempts, including a career-low 36.9 percent from three (on 6.9 3PA/G).

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Decent showing in loss
McCollum finished Sunday's 129-106 loss to the Nets with 17 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes.
McCollum took a step in the right direction Sunday after being held to 10 points on 2-for-11 from the field during Wednesday's clash against Houston. He was far more efficient against Brooklyn, finishing second on his team in points while showcasing his quick hands on the opposite end of the court. McCollum has now recorded two steals three times in 13 appearances so far this season.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Drops 42 points in OT loss
McCollum finished with 42 points (14-26 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 9-11 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal in 43 minutes during Monday's 137-135 overtime loss to the Pistons.
McCollum added plenty of offensive firepower for the Wizards, but Detroit made an impressive late-game push and ultimately secured the victory after sending the game to overtime. The 34-year-old has been red-hot over his last three appearances, turning back the clock to average 30.7 points in 34.7 minutes per game during that span.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Stays hot vs. Dallas
McCollum tallied 25 points (9-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks in 33 minutes during Saturday's 111-105 loss to the Mavericks.
This marks a second straight 25-point game for the 34-year-old. In addition to his solid play as a scorer, McCollum also contributed as a defender by recording his first two blocks of the 2025-26 campaign. The veteran guard has responded nicely following a slow start to November.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Breaks through for 25 points
McCollum racked up 25 points (8-16 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 28 minutes during Friday's 148-114 loss to the Cavaliers.
McCollum responded nicely Friday after finishing with only eight total points in his previous two games. He found his rhythm from beyond the arc, setting season highs in made triples and points. This was certainly a step in the right direction for McCollum, but his production outside of the scoring column has been disappointing so far this year.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Struggles in loss
McCollum amassed three points (1-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and four assists in 18 minutes during Wednesday's 136-107 loss to the Celtics.
McCollum's output went from bad to worse, as he delivered a season-low three points in the loss. Saying he is washed might be a little premature, although fantasy managers have to be getting frustrated with his production thus far. Through eight games, he is averaging 11.6 points and 2.0 three-pointers in 27.3 minutes per contest.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Leads team with 19 points
McCollum ended Thursday's 127-108 loss to Oklahoma City with 19 points (6-10 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 24 minutes.
Although the Wizards are struggling to begin the season, McCollum is providing veteran stability in the backcourt. After underperforming early on, he's averaged 19 points per game over the last three contests. As the team's presumptive floor general, his assist numbers need some work, but the rest of his numbers seem to be trending up.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Falls short in loss
McCollum had 14 points (4-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, seven assists and one steal across 40 minutes during Tuesday's 139-134 overtime loss to Philadelphia.
McCollum had plenty of opportunities to wrap up the game Tuesday, ultimately falling short. Despite playing 40 minutes, he shot the ball poorly, whilst being tasked with running the offense down the stretch. The Wizards are much improved this season, but are still likely to finish near the bottom of the standings when all is said and done. It's unclear whether McCollum will feature in the team's long-term plans, making him somewhat risky to roster.

Wizards' CJ McCollum: Nets 24 points with full line
McCollum compiled 24 points (8-20 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one turnover across 30 minutes during Sunday's 139-113 loss to the Hornets.
McCollum was coming off of back-to-back, single-digit scoring performances to open the season but he finally got things on track Sunday evening, operating as the Wizards' go-to guy on offense while taking a season-high number of shot attempts. Now that he's had his first breakout game in a Wizards uniform, McCollum will look to carry over the momentum into Tuesday's matchup against the 76ers.
