  • Bucks' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Traded to Bucks

The Suns traded Hayes-Davis and Nick Richards to the Bucks on Thursday in exchange for Cole Anthony and Amir Coffey, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. After a strong stint in Europe, Hayes-Davis returned to the NBA this offseason, but he was a non-factor in Phoenix with seven brief appearances to his name. It's hard to get excited about the 31-year-old's fantasy outlook on a Milwaukee team that is likely to pivot towards a rebuild. Hayes-Davis can be considered questionable to debut Friday against the Pacers.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Will play Thursday

Hayes-Davis (ankle) will play Thursday in Detroit, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Hayes-Davis is set to return from a one-game absence, but he's not a significant part of the Suns' rotation. Hayes-Davis is averaging 1.4 points on 34.9 percent shooting this season.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Questionable for Thursday

Hayes-Davis (ankle) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Pistons. Hayes-Davis has popped up on the injury report with a right ankle sprain that puts his availability for Thursday in question. The 31-year-old is averaging just 1.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 23 appearances this season and hasn't logged double-digit minutes since Dec. 10, so his potential absence shouldn't meaningfully impact the Suns' rotation.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Fails to score again Friday

Hayes-Davis totaled no counting stats across two minutes during Friday's 129-102 victory over the Kings. Hayes-Davis failed to score for the fourth time in his past five appearances, continuing to play a mere depth role for the Suns. In 22 appearances, the rookie has averaged just 1.4 points and 1.3 rebounds in 8.0 minutes per contest.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Unproductive again in loss

Hayes-Davis logged zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound over 12 minutes during Wednesday's 138-89 loss to the Thunder. Hayes-Davis failed to score yet again Wednesday, having now scored a total of just 26 points in 18 appearances. At this stage, he is not an every-night part of the rotation, making him a non-factor in all redraft formats.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Non-existent in loss Saturday

Hayes-Davis registered zero points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in 13 minutes during Saturday's 130-112 loss to the Nuggets. Hayes-Davis played at least 10 minutes for the second straight game, although he failed to do anything of note. He has now gone scoreless in nine of his 15 appearances, averaging 1.3 points in 8.3 minutes per game during that span.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Sees 14 minutes in loss

Hayes-Davis ended Wednesday's 114-113 loss to the Grizzlies with four points (2-2 FG), two assists and one steal over 14 minutes. Dillon Brooks (groin) is still sidelined, and that's opened up some minutes at forward. Hayes-Davis has appeared in all five games to open the season, but his role leaves a lot to be desired with an average of 12.6 minutes per night and a shot rate of 10.3 percent.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Logs 15 minutes off the bench

Hayes-Davis saw 15 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 111-109 preseason loss to Brooklyn and finished with two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one assist and one steal. Hayes-Davis will help back up the forward spots in Phoenix this upcoming season after a dazzling stint overseas. However, while the team is at full strength, it'll be tough for him to find enough minutes to make an impact in most fantasy leagues.

  • Suns' Nigel Hayes-Davis: Returning stateside with Phoenix

Hayes-Davis agreed to a fully guaranteed one-year contract with the Suns on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Hayes-Davis had a decorated career in Europe and starred for Fenerbahce in the 2024-25 Euroleague season, winning the title and being named Finals MVP. He last played in the NBA during the 2017-18 season, making nine appearances off the bench for the Lakers, Kings and Raptors. However, he should find an easy path toward regular playing time with the Suns this upcoming campaign. Hayes-Davis averaged 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in the 2024-25 Euroleague season between the regular season and the playoffs.
