  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Fares well off bench

Bryant contributed 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds and one block over 19 minutes during Wednesday's 128-122 loss to the Magic. With Jarrett Allen (knee) still sidelined, Bryant made the most of his minutes as Cleveland's backup center. He has struggled with his efficiency over his last three outings, however, shooting 34.8 percent from the field with 7.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 14.9 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Could benefit if Allen misses time

Bryant amassed nine points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal over 16 minutes during Tuesday's 113-109 victory over Detroit. Bryant has come off the bench in each of his 45 appearances this season and is averaging 10.8 minutes per game. He put together respectable numbers Tuesday and came through with his first outing with multiple three-pointers since Feb. 7. The veteran center could be called upon to take on a larger role after Jarrett Allen left in the third quarter due to a right knee injury, though Allen will have some extra time to recover before the Cavaliers' next game Sunday versus the Celtics.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Moves out of rotation

Bryant (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Sunday in the Cavaliers' 121-113 loss to the Thunder. With Evan Mobley available again after overcoming the calf injury that sidelined him for seven straight games leading up to the All-Star break, Bryant has dropped out of the Cleveland rotation for two of the past three contests. Bryant's opportunities are likely to be scarce over the final two months of the season, so long as both Mobley and Jarrett Allen can stay healthy.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Sees 15 minutes off bench

Bryant finished Sunday's 114-110 loss to the Pistons with seven points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 15 minutes. With Jarrett Allen sidelined by an illness, Bryant soaked up some extra minutes off the bench. He's been effective in limited action lately, posting averages of 7.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 12.6 minutes over his last six contests.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Grabs six rebounds in loss

Bryant amassed seven points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and six rebounds in 18 minutes during Wednesday's 127-111 loss to the Bulls. Bryant has recorded back-to-back games with at least six boards, performing well in an increased role while Evan Mobley (calf) remains sidelined. In his last six games, Bryant has averaged 7.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.5 blocks across 13.5 minutes.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Scores in double figures

Bryant accumulated 10 points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block over 14 minutes during Sunday's 119-111 overtime loss to Charlotte. Despite the return of Jarrett Allen, Bryant scored in double figures off the bench for only the second time this season. While Allen is back after a multi-game absence, the Cavaliers are expected to be without Evan Mobley (calf) for at least a few weeks, leaving the door open for Bryant to remain part of the rotation. Larry Nance (calf) also remains out indefinitely.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Plays 12 minutes in win

Bryant notched six points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal in 12 minutes during Monday's 135-119 victory over the Pacers. Bryant is buried on the depth chart behind the likes of Jarrett Allen (finger) and Evan Mobley, but with Allen slated to miss at least a week due to injury, Bryant may see meaningful minutes on the court temporarily. Mobley will slide to the center spot, but Bryant should continue to back Mobley up until Allen is available to return.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Sees extended run

Bryant ended with four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds and one block across 13 minutes during Wednesday's 130-116 win over the Heat. With Donovan Mitchell (rest), Evan Mobley (rest), Darius Garland (toe) and Jaylon Tyson (concussion) out, Bryant saw his most meaningful playing time of the season. He contributed mainly on the boards, and his value remains limited when the starters are at full strength.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Logs first stats of season in win

Bryant dropped four points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and two assists across seven minutes in Monday's 116-95 victory over the Pistons. Bryant likely only saw playing time Monday due to the nature of the game, reaching blowout status at the end of the second half. The Indiana product was able to make his season debut as a result, but he will likely only see the floor in the future due to injury or game script.

  • Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Agrees to deal with Cavaliers

Bryant agreed to a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the Cavaliers on Tuesday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. Cleveland was in desperate need of some additional depth at center, so it was inevitable that the team would add someone ahead of training camp. Bryant, who will be entering his ninth NBA season, made 56 regular-season appearances for the Pacers in 2024-25 with averages of 6.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.6 blocks in 15.1 minutes per contest.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Little playing time in loss

Bryant amassed zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in one minute during Sunday's 103-91 loss to Oklahoma City in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Bryant saw limited action in Indiana's season-ending loss Sunday, as his playing time diminished late in the series. The center appeared in 66 regular-season games between Miami and Indiana, making eight starts and averaging 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.6 minutes per game.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Not starting Sunday

Bryant won't start Sunday's game against the Cavaliers. With Myles Turner (knee) sidelined, Bryant made his eighth start of the season Friday and posted 10 points and four blocks in 20 minutes. It's unclear if Turner will play his usual minutes, so Bryant could still see an increased role Sunday, even though he's coming off the bench.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Starting Friday

Bryant is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Magic on Friday. Bryant will make his eighth start of the season (and third since the beginning of March) due to the absence of Myles Turner (knee). Bryant has averaged 5.4 points and 2.9 rebounds over 11.3 minutes per game over his last 10 outings.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Used sparingly in win

Bryant ended with two points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one block over 12 minutes during Saturday's 108-103 win over the Nets. Bryant played limited minutes again Saturday, continuing to struggle whenever Myles Turner is healthy. Although he has both hands on the backup job, Bryant's inability to consistently impact the game has resulted in him playing limited minutes, even for a backup. Over the past 17 games, he is averaging just 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Starting sans Turner

Bryant will be in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Minnesota, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Bryant will have some streaming appeal in fantasy leagues amid the absence of Myles Turner (hip) on Monday. Across five outings as a starter this year, Bryant has averaged 14.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 27.2 minutes.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Modest showing off bench

Bryant had seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one block across 16 minutes during Sunday's 127-112 victory over the Bulls. The veteran big man continues to operate as a strict reserve for the Pacers while starting center Myles Turner is healthy. Through his last six outings, Bryant has averaged 7.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks in 13.9 minutes while shooting 53.1 percent from the field. As long as Turner and the rest of Indiana's frontcourt stays healthy, Bryant won't carry nearly as much streaming appeal in fantasy leagues.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Not starting Thursday

Bryant won't start in Thursday's game against Memphis, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports. Myles Turner will return to the starting five Thursday, pushing Bryant back to the bench. The big man started in three of the club's last six outings, and in that six-game span, Bryant averaged 11.0 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 25.2 minutes per contest.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Productive outing in loss

Bryant racked up 18 points (8-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and one block across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 128-115 loss to the Knicks. It was a productive outing by Bryant, who continues to start at center for the Pacers while Myles Turner sits on the shelf with a neck injury. Through four games in Indiana's starting lineup this year, Bryant has been serviceable with averages of 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in 27.2 minutes while shooting 54.0 percent from the field. With Turner already ruled out for Wednesday's contest against Washington, Bryant will remain a solid streaming choice in fantasy leagues.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Solid showing in spot start

Bryant closed Saturday's 124-117 loss to the Lakers with 13 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), eight rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes. Myles Turner (neck) missed his first game after getting injured Thursday, but Bryant didn't see a significant increase in his workload despite getting the start -- Obi Toppin played 22 minutes off the bench as the duo split the minutes in the paint. Bryant did lead the Pacers in rebounds on the afternoon, while the four assists tied his season high -- a mark he set in Indiana's last game, after Turner exited the court early in the first quarter. If Turner continues to be held out, Bryant should see a small bump in his numbers, but starter-level minutes and production will likely elude him.

  • Pacers' Thomas Bryant: Starting Saturday vs. LAL

Bryant is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Lakers on Saturday, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports. Bryant will make his third start of the year Saturday due to the absence of Myles Turner (neck). With Turner out and Bryant starting, Obi Toppin and Enrique Freeman could see some playing time at center when the Pacers go with a small-ball lineup. Bryant finished Thursday's 119-112 win over the Clippers with 12 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and one block over 28 minutes.
