  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Goes 4-for-4 in return

Wade (ankle) contributed 11 points (4-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt) and five rebounds in 16 minutes Thursday in the Cavaliers' 112-84 win over the Nets.

The Cavaliers made room for Wade and Evan Mobley (calf) in the starting five in their returns from three- and seven-game absences, respectively, sending Jaylon Tyson and Sam Merrill to the bench as a result. Wade came through with an efficient shooting performance, but because the Cavaliers had amassed a 35-point lead by the end of the third quarter, head coach Kenny Atkinson rested the 29-year-old forward as well as the team's other four starters for the final period. Wade is still averaging a modest 22.7 minutes per game on the season, so he's unlikely to be in line for extended playing time even in more competitive contests.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Left off injury report

Wade (ankle) is off the injury report for Thursday's game against the Nets.

Head coach Kenny Atkinson said Wednesday that Wade was on track to play, and Cleveland's injury report confirms that the forward will be available to open the second-half schedule. Wade has averaged a modest 5.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 23.4 minutes per game in his last nine appearances, and the expectation is that his return along with Evan Mobley's (calf) will result in Jaylon Tyson and Sam Merrill moving back to the bench.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Likely to play Thursday

Wade (ankle) is likely to play in Thursday's game against the Nets, Spencer Davies of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Wade missed Cleveland's last three contests prior to the All-Star break, but he's trending toward returning from a sprained left ankle. His presence would likely force Sam Merrill into a bench role, though Wade has scored in double figures just twice in his last nine appearances.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Won't go Wednesday

Wade (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Washington.

Wade will miss a third straight outing due to a left ankle sprain, and his next chance to play will come against Brooklyn on Feb. 19. With Evan Mobley (calf) and Wade both sidelined, Jaylon Tyson, Sam Merrill and Nae'Qwan Tomlin are candidates for increased playing time.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Unavailable Monday

Wade (ankle) is out for Monday's game against the Nuggets, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Wade carried a questionable tag leading up to tipoff, and the team has since downgraded him to out. He'll miss his second straight game due to a left ankle sprain. Wade's next chance to run the floor will arrive Wednesday against the Wizards.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Could return Monday

Wade (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Wade is dealing with a left ankle sprain that prevented him from playing against the Kings on Saturday, but he has a chance to be cleared to return Monday. Jaylon Tyson will likely remain in the Cavaliers' starting lineup if Wade is unable to play.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Unavailable Saturday

Wade (ankle) won't play in Saturday's game against the Kings, Matt George of ABC 10 Sacramento reports.

Wade was downgraded to doubtful Saturday afternoon, so his absence doesn't come as much of a surprise. The Cavs will trot out a starting lineup of James Harden, Donovan Mitchell, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Jarrett Allen. Wade's next chance to play will come Monday against Denver.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Unlikely to face Sacramento

Wade (ankle) has been downgraded to doubtful for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Wade was initially listed as questionable due to a left ankle sprain but now appears unlikely to suit up Saturday. If he's ultimately ruled out, there would be more minutes available for Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Nae'Qwan Tomlin.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Iffy for Saturday

Wade is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings due to a left ankle sprain.

The ankle sprain is a new concern for Wade, who has appeared in each of Cleveland's last nine outings. If he isn't cleared to play in Sacramento, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and Nae'Qwan Tomlin would be candidates for increased playing time.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Turns in quiet showing

Wade produced five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 124-91 victory over the Clippers.

Wade continues to be held in check on the offensive end and has scored six or fewer points in three of his previous four appearances. It's also worth noting that he's seen a decrease in playing time during this stretch, averaging 21.0 minutes per game in comparison to the 27.5 minutes per game he averaged from Jan. 21 to Jan. 26. Opportunities could become even more difficult to come by for Wade with Jaylon Tyson playing well and James Harden (recently traded) expected to make his Cleveland debut Saturday.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Notches seven points

Wade finished with six points (2-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 29 minutes during Monday's 114-98 victory over Orlando.

Although Wade continues to see sizable workloads for the Cavaliers, his fantasy appeal leaves a lot to be desired. Over his last five outings, he's averaging 5.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 three-pointers in 25.3 minutes per contest.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Limited output in return

Wade (knee) finished with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one turnover across 16 minutes Monday in the Cavaliers' 136-104 loss to the Thunder.

In his return from a five-game absence due to a left knee contusion, Wade took back a spot in the starting five but saw minimal involvement on the offensive end, with his 6.9 percent usage rate ranking last among Cavaliers rotation players. While Wade will likely continue to start for Cleveland and see his minutes pick up in future contests, his role isn't especially fantasy-friendly. Over his previous nine non-injury-shortened starts prior to Monday, Wade averaged 7.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.7 assists in 25.6 minutes.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Listed as available

Wade (knee) is available for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Wade is returning to the lineup after missing five consecutive games with a left knee bruise. The forward has started 10 contests in a row, but Wade has scored in single digits in six of them and failed to reach the 15-point marker in any of these appearances.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: On track to return Monday

Wade (knee) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Wade is trending toward returning Monday from a five-game absence due to a left knee contusion. His impending return could lead to Craig Porter or Jaylon Tyson moving from the starting lineup to the bench against Oklahoma City. Over his last 10 outings (all starts), Wade averaged 7.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 threes over 23.8 minutes per game.

Wade (knee) won't play Friday versus the 76ers.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Still out

Wade (knee) is listed as out for Wednesday's game against Philadelphia.

Wade will miss a fourth straight game with a bruised left knee. Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson and De'Andre Hunter are candidates to see expanded roles due to Wade's absence. His next chance to play will come Friday in a rematch with the 76ers.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Won't play Monday

Wade (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Jazz.

This will be the third consecutive game on the sidelines for Wade, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia. Jaylon Tyson, De'Andre Hunter and Nae'Qwan Tomlin will continue to pick up the slack in Wade's absence.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Ruled out for Saturday

Wade (knee) won't play Saturday versus the Timberwolves.

Wade has missed four of the past five games with this knee injury, and for now, he should be considered questionable at best for Monday's matchup with the Jazz. Jaylon Tyson, De'Andre Hunter and Nae'Qwan Tomlin will likely divvy up Wade's minutes.

  • Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Won't play Thursday

Wade (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Minnesota.

Wade picked up a left knee bruise during Tuesday's game, and the issue will prevent him from suiting up Thursday. The forward's absence should mean more opportunities for Jaylon Tyson, De'Andre Hunter and Nae'Qwan Tomlin.
