  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Goes 6-for-6 from deep

Shamet supplied 18 points (6-7 FG, 6-6 3Pt), one rebound, two assists, one block and two steals in 15 minutes during Wednesday's 120-66 victory over the Nets. Shamet appeared to shake off all signs of rust in New York's rout against Brooklyn. The Knicks reserve played in his fourth game after a nearly two-month absence due to shoulder sprain and scored more than in his three prior contests combined Wednesday night. Shamet's shooting is one way for him to earn playing time in a deep New York backcourt.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Drills two triples in return

Shamet (shoulder) recorded six points (2-7 FG, 2-7 3Pt) and one steal in 16 minutes Thursday in the Knicks' 126-113 loss to the Warriors. Shamet took the court for the first time since Nov. 22 after missing nearly two months while recovering from a right shoulder sprain. Even with Jalen Brunson (ankle) sitting out Thursday, Shamet held a relatively limited role off the bench, and the 16-minute workload he received could be fairly close to the norm for the veteran shooting guard moving forward. Unless he unexpectedly sees his playing time tick up dramatically in the games to come, Shamet should be viewed as little more than a streaming option for three-pointers in deeper fantasy leagues.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Will play Thursday

Shamet (shoulder) will play Thursday versus the Warriors, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. This will be Shamet's first game since Nov. 22, so he'll likely have some minutes restrictions in his first game back. Managers in most leagues can take a wait-and-see approach with Shamet.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Upgraded to questionable

Shamet (shoulder) is questionable for Thursday's game against the Warriors, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. Shamet has a chance to conclude nearly a two-month stay on the sidelines with a sprained shoulder. His return would create a logjam for playing time in the backcourt with Tyler Kolek, Miles McBride and Jordan Clarkson, though Jalen Brunson (ankle) is unavailable for Thursday.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Practices Tuesday

Shamet (shoulder) practiced Tuesday, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports. Shamet has been out since November due to a shoulder injury, but he appears to be in the final stages of his rehab process. He's already been ruled out for Wednesday's game, and the Knicks will likely want him to get through a few practices before he's cleared to return, so it's unlikely he'll play Thursday versus the Warriors.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Ruled out for Sunday

Shamet (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers. Shamet hasn't played since Nov. 22 due to a right shoulder sprain and remains without a timetable for a return. He progressed to on-court activities in late December, though he should be considered doubtful for future contests until the Knicks provide an update on his recovery.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Ruled out against Suns

Shamet is out for Friday's game against the Suns with a right shoulder sprain. Shamet hasn't taken the court since Nov. 22, and he appears to remain out indefinitely. The sharpshooter's continued absence should keep Miles McBride in the streaming mix in most fantasy leagues, while Tyler Kolek and Jordan Clarkson are slated to continue to battle for reserve minutes in the New York backcourt.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Remaining out vs. LAC

Shamet (shoulder) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Clippers. Shamet hasn't played since Nov. 22 due to a right shoulder sprain and is without a clear timetable for a return. The 28-year-old swingman returned to on-court basketball activities in late December and can be considered doubtful ahead of Friday's game against the Suns until the Knicks offer an update on his status.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Progressing in recovery

Shamet (shoulder) has progressed to on-court basketball activities but has not been cleared for contact yet, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. Shamet suffered a right shoulder sprain in a loss to Orlando on Nov. 22 and was recently re-evaluated. While it's a promising sign that the 28-year-old swingman has been cleared to return to basketball activities, he can still be considered week-to-week until the Knicks provide another update on his progress.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Still out with shoulder sprain

Shamet (shoulder) is out for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers. Shamet was given a four-week timetable for a return after being diagnosed with a sprained right shoulder back on Nov. 26, though the Knicks haven't yet offered an update on his recovery. With the veteran sharpshooter still looking week-to-week, Jordan Clarkson and Tyler Kolek should both continue to handle an expanded role.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Out for at least four weeks

Shamet (shoulder) will be re-evaluated in four weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Shamet sustained a right shoulder sprain in Saturday's loss to the Magic, and he's now facing a lengthy absence. The veteran sharpshooter's timetable suggests his earliest possible return date is the Dec. 25 matchup against the Cavaliers, but he could be sidelined until the new year. With Shamet on the shelf, Miles McBride and Jordan Clarkson are both worth monitoring in fantasy leagues.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Listed out for Wednesday

Shamet is out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets with a sprained right shoulder. The Knicks are going to be without the veteran sharpshooter for a second straight game. Shamet's next chance to return comes Friday against the Bucks. Miles McBride started in the backcourt alongside Jalen Brunson on Monday versus the Nets and should continue to do so until Shamet is cleared to return.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Ruled out for Monday

Shamet (shoulder) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Nets. The Knicks are listing Shamet as out with a right shoulder sprain, though he's still expected to undergo further evaluation after sustaining the injury in Saturday's loss to the Magic. With the 28-year-old swingman sidelined, Miles McBride, Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart are candidates for increased minutes. Shamet can be considered doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Hornets until the Knicks provide an update on his status.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: To be evaluated soon

Head coach Mike Brown said after Saturday's 133-121 loss to the Magic that Shamet (shoulder) will be evaluated in "the next couple days," Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports. Shamet collided with an opposing player and sustained a right shoulder injury in the first quarter of Saturday's contest. He can be considered doubtful for Monday's game against the Nets until the Knicks provide an update on his status. In the likely event that the 28-year-old swingman misses additional time, Miles McBride (illness), Jordan Clarkson and Josh Hart are candidates for increased playing time.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Won't return Saturday

Shamet (shoulder) won't return to Saturday's game against the Magic, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports. Shamet collided with an opposing player and immediately left for the locker room early in the first quarter due to a right shoulder injury. He'll finish with two assists in three minutes. With the 28-year-old swingman ruled out and Miles McBride (illness) questionable to play, Jordan Clarkson, Tyler Kolek and Josh Hart are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way. The Knicks are expected to provide an update on Shamet's status for Monday's game against the Nets by Sunday night.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Exits to locker room vs. Orlando

Shamet exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent right shoulder injury in the first quarter of Saturday's game against the Magic, Cody Taylor of USA Today reports. Shamet collided with an opposing player and immediately headed back to the locker room with 9:17 remaining in the first quarter. If the 28-year-old swingman is unable to return, Jordan Clarkson, Miles McBride and Josh Hart are candidates for increased minutes the rest of the way.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Starting Monday

Shamet will start Monday's game against the Heat, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. With Jalen Brunson (ankle) and OG Anunoby (hamstring) sidelined, Shamet will rejoin the starting five. The eighth-year swingman is fresh off a career-high 36-point performance off the bench in Friday's win over Miami. Over three starts this season, he has averaged 12.3 points and 3.0 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per contest.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Career-high 36 points vs. Miami

Shamet supplied 36 points (12-19 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three assists and two rebounds over 37 minutes during New York's 140-132 win over Miami on Friday. Shamet was already slated for an expanded role for Friday's game after Jalen Brunson (ankle) was ruled out, but the former was relied on even more heavily after OG Anunoby was forced to leave in the first quarter due to a hamstring injury. Karl-Anthony Towns gave the Knicks their 10-point halftime lead by scoring 31 of his game-high 39 points through the first two quarters, but it was Shamet who helped New York close things out with 30 of his 36 points coming in the second half. The 36 points are a career high for Shamet and the fourth 30-point outing of his eight-year NBA tenure. Brunson may not travel with the Knicks during their upcoming five-game road trip, and if Anunoby were to miss time due to his injury, then role players like Shamet, Jordan Clarkson, Miles McBride and others would be poised for bigger roles on both ends of the floor.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Moving to bench Wednesday

Shamet won't start Wednesday's game against the Magic, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) back in action, Shamet will slide to the second unit. Over his last five appearances off the bench, the 28-year-old guard has averaged 4.8 points while shooting 33.3 percent from the field in 16.4 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Landry Shamet: Starting sans Robinson

Shamet will start Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies. With Mitchell Robinson (ankle) sidelined for the front end of the Knicks' back-to-back set, Shamet will get the starting nod Tuesday. Over two starts this season, the 28-year-old guard has averaged 13.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in 27.5 minutes per contest.
