Thunder's Payton Sandfort: Strikes deal with Oklahoma City
Sandfort agreed Monday with the Thunder on a two-way contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
One of the top performers this season for the Thunder's G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue, Sandfort will now get the chance to make his NBA debut as the regular season winds down. The 23-year-old forward has appeared in 21 games for the Blue, averaging 11.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 three-pointers and 2.1 assists in 27.8 minutes per contest.

Payton Sandfort: Waived by Thunder
The Thunder waived Sandfort on Tuesday, Rylan Stiles of SI.com reports.
This was an expected move by the Thunder after they signed him to an Exhibit 10 deal earlier this week. Sandfort will receive a bonus for now joining the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League.

Sandfort is not listed on Oklahoma City's training camp roster.
Sandfort inked an Exhibit 10 contract with the Thunder after going unselected in the 2025 NBA Draft. While he won't be part of the team's training camp roster, Sandfort will likely see action with OKC's G League affiliate.

Thunder's Payton Sandfort: Lands with OKC
Sandfort signed a contract with Oklahoma City on Thursday, Jonathan Givony of ESPN.com reports.
Sandfort served as one of his team's leading scorers at Iowa, where he averaged 16.7 points on 40.7 percent shooting from the field during his final season of college action. He has plenty of size and athleticism but will likely spend the majority of his rookie campaign in the G League.
