Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Drops team-high 21 in Charlotte
Daniels produced 21 points (9-12 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and four assists over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 110-107 loss to the Hornets.
After sitting out Monday's game in Minnesota due to a sore ankle, Daniels returned to action and led the Hawks in scoring. The fourth-year guard has been inconsistent of late, scoring in double digits in only five of his last 10 games while averaging 10.5 points, 6.2 assists, 5.6 boards and 1.4 steals, and he continues to struggle from three-point range. Daniels is shooting just 27.3 percent (3-for-11) over that stretch from beyond the arc, and a woeful 13.3 percent on the season.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Cleared to face Hornets
Daniels (ankle) is available for Wednesday's game against Charlotte, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Daniels will shed a questionable tag in time to suit up Wednesday night. The 22-year-old is averaging 10.1 points, 6.8 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 1.7 steals across 32.0 minutes in his last 10 appearances.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Iffy for Wednesday
Daniels (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Hornets.
Daniels missed Monday's matchup with the Timberwolves while tending to a right ankle issue, and he's now in danger of missing a second game. The team should have another update to share closer to tipoff.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Won't play Monday
Daniels (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against Minnesota, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Daniels will sit out Monday's contest while dealing with right ankle inflammation. Over his past five games, the guard averaged 7.2 points, 5.6 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.6 steals on 35.4 percent shooting from the field. CJ McCollum, Gabe Vincent and Buddy Hield are candidates for increased run, while Daniels' next chance to suit up will come Wednesday against Charlotte.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Nursing ankle injury
Daniels is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Timberwolves due to right ankle inflammation, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports.
Daniels may have tweaked his ankle during the Hawks' loss to the Hornets on Saturday, when he logged 11 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals over 31 minutes. CJ McCollum, Gabe Vincent and Buddy Hield figure to be the top candidates to enter Atlanta's starting lineup if Daniels is unable to play Monday.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Modest production continues
Daniels closed Saturday's 126-119 loss to the Hornets with 11 points (5-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 31 minutes.
Daniels continues to struggle on the offensive end, appearing more passive than usual. He has scored no more than 11 points in five straight games, a worrying trend for fantasy managers. While scoring is certainly not one of his strengths, it does seem as though he is more hesitant than usual, often not even looking at the basket despite being in a scoring position. His peripheral production, as always, is enough to buoy his fantasy value to the point that he continues to put up top 80 numbers despite averaging just 10.5 points per game in 14 appearances over the past month.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Offensive struggles continue
Daniels ended Tuesday's 127-115 victory over Miami with two points (1-4 FG), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 22 minutes.
Daniels continues to offer very little on the offensive end of the court, scoring in single digits for the fifth time in the past seven games. While his peripheral contributions have been adequate, he appears to have lost some of his confidence when it comes to scoring the basketball. His reluctance to want to score is certainly impacting his fantasy value, as he has been barely a top-80 player in seven games over the past two weeks.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Peripheral production continues
Daniels registered eight points (4-7 FG), seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Saturday's 129-124 loss to Indiana.
Daniels was a little quiet on the offensive end but once again salvaged his night with an across-the-board performance. He has now recorded at least seven assists in six of the past seven games, while also adding 14 steals and 48 rebounds during that span. While he is better suited to punt-points builds, he is doing more than enough to be rostered across all formats.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Hits for 22 against Indiana
Daniels closed with 22 points (10-15 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 132-116 victory over the Pacers.
It was Daniels' best scoring effort since Dec. 14, when he erupted for 27 points against the 76ers. The fourth-year guard has seen his offense take a step back from his breakout 2024-25 campaign, particularly from three-point range, but through 12 games in January, Daniels is averaging 12.6 points, 7.3 assists, 7.1 boards and 1.5 steals per game.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Grabs eight boards in win
Daniels produced eight points (4-6 FG), eight rebounds and four assists in 37 minutes during Friday's 110-103 win over Phoenix.
After shooting 1-for-9 from the field in Wednesday's win over Memphis, Daniels was efficient in his limited chances Friday. However, the 22-year-old guard failed to score in double figures for the third time in his last five outings. On a more positive note, he has grabbed at least seven rebounds in four of those five games. During that span, Daniels has averaged 9.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 33.6 minutes per contest.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Just misses triple-double Monday
Daniels supplied 17 points (8-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, 10 assists, one block and three steals across 30 minutes during Monday's 112-110 loss to the Bucks.
After sitting out Saturday's loss to Boston due to a minor ankle issue, Daniels returned and nearly came away with his second triple-double of the season after he delivered the first Jan. 9 against the Nuggets. The fourth-year guard instead settled for his seventh double-double. In 11 games since Trae Young (knee) made his last appearance for the Hawks, Daniels has averaged 12.9 points, 7.5 assists, 7.2 boards, 1.8 steals and 0.8 blocks per contest.

Daniels (ankle) will be available for Monday's game against the Bucks.
Daniels was unable to suit up Saturday due to a right ankle sprain, but he has since shed his questionable tag. With Daniels back in the mix, CJ McCollum's usage could take a hit, and guys like Vit Krejci, Corey Kispert and Luke Kennard may not be as involved.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Iffy for Saturday
Daniels (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Celtics.
Daniels is managing a right ankle sprain that clouds his availability for Saturday's home contest. The guard has been productive in January, averaging 12.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.8 steals in 34.9 minutes per game across eight appearances. If he's unable to suit up, the Hawks could turn to recently acquired CJ McCollum in the starting lineup.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Scores 10 points in loss
Daniels contributed 10 points (5-9 FG), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 33 minutes during Thursday's 117-101 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Daniels did not attempt any three-pointers, and his confidence from beyond the arc likely isn't there, with an 11.3 percent mark for the season. He's been solid elsewhere, however, posting averages of 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.9 steals in 34.1 minutes per contest.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Logs first career triple-double
Daniels notched 17 points (8-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals across 36 minutes in Friday's 110-87 win over the Nuggets.
After getting extremely close multiple times over the past few weeks, Daniels recorded his first career triple-double Friday. The 22-year-old guard grabbed a team- and season-high 11 rebounds, marking his third outing on the campaign with double-digit boards. He also led all players in assists and may continue to take on increased playmaking duties with Trae Young (quadriceps) having been traded to Washington on Wednesday. Additionally, Daniels finished with a game-best four steals, tying his season high.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Stuffs stat sheet in win
Daniels recorded 13 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 117-100 win over the Pelicans.
Daniels notched his seventh straight game scoring in double figures and led the team with eight assists in Wednesday's win. He also recorded three steals for the first time since Dec. 1 after tallying nine games with at least three swipes in October and November. With Trae Young traded to Washington on Wednesday, Daniels should continue to serve as one of Atlanta's top playmaking options. The 22-year-old guard is averaging 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 34.9 minutes per game over his last 15 outings.

Hawks' Dyson Daniels: Double-double in loss
Daniels logged 20 points (9-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 assists, five rebounds, two steals and two blocks over 34 minutes during the Hawks' 134-117 loss to the Raptors on Saturday.
Daniels recorded his fifth double-double of the season Saturday, and his 12 dimes were tied for his second most of the year. He also reached the 20-point threshold for the first time since Dec. 14, finishing as the Hawks' third-leading scorer behind Nickeil Alexander-Walker (31 points) and Jalen Johnson (30 points). Daniels has recorded at least seven assists in five straight games and will continue to serve as one of the Hawks' top distributors, especially in games for which Trae Young (quadriceps) doesn't play, as was the case Saturday.

Daniels ended Monday's 140-129 loss to the Thunder with 13 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes.
Daniels continues to stuff the stat sheet on a regular basis for fantasy managers. Over his last eight appearances, the swingman has averaged 14.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks in 34.8 minutes per game while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor.
