Grizzlies' Ja Morant: To be re-evaluated this week
Morant (calf) is set to be re-evaluated after Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Michael Wallace of the Grizzlies' official site reports.
Morant hasn't played since Nov. 15 due to a Grade 1 right calf strain and can be considered week-to-week until the Grizzlies provide an update on his timeline for a return. Until the star point guard is cleared to play, Cam Spencer, Vince Williams and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are candidates for increased playing time.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Out at least two weeks
Morant will miss at least two weeks with a right calf strain, the Grizzlies announced Monday.
Morant left Saturday's game against the Cavaliers early with what was described as soreness at the time, but further evaluation revealed a strain. Memphis' depth at point guard is nonexistent due to injuries, so the team will rely on players such as Jaylen Wells, Cam Spencer and Vince Williams to pick up the slack. The Grizzlies also recently signed guard Jahmai Mashack to a two-way contract. Based on this update from Memphis, Morant is likely to miss the rest of November at a minimum.

A questionable tag on the second leg of a back-to-back set is usually an indication of a possible maintenance day. Morant played 34 minutes against the Knicks on Tuesday, but he had another poor showing -- he finished with 16 points (4-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 10 assists, three rebounds and eight turnovers. Guys like Cam Spencer, John Konchar, Vince Williams and Cedric Coward could be more involved if Morant is unable to go.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Poor shooting display Sunday
Morant totaled 11 points (3-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 34 minutes during Sunday's 114-100 loss to the Thunder.
Morant had another woeful shooting performance Sunday, but this isn't the first time he has struggled from the floor this season. In fact, this was the fifth time in the 2025-26 season in which he made five or fewer field goals while attempting 14-plus shots. With that in mind, it's not surprising to see Morant shooting a career-low 35.8 percent from the floor and 14.8 percent from deep. Morant is too talented to continue struggling like this for a long time, but the star guard has undoubtedly been one of the most disappointing performers in fantasy in 2025-26 relative to his ADP.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Double-doubles Friday
Morant amassed 21 points (7-20 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 7-7 FT), five rebounds, 13 assists and three steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 118-104 victory over the Mavericks.
Morant reached the 20-point plateau for the first time since Oct. 29, when he posted 28 points in a win over the Suns. This was also his second double-double over his last three games since returning from a one-game suspension handed by the team. Morant can be a dominant backcourt presence when available, and the Grizzlies need him at his best on a steady basis. Since returning from the suspension, Morant is averaging 18.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 10.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game in three contests.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Stuffs stat sheet, shoots poorly
Morant amassed 17 points (6-19 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 34 minutes during Wednesday's 124-109 loss to the Rockets.
Morant posted a solid stat line in this 15-point loss to the Rockets, but his shooting woes surfaced once again. The star floor general was terrible from deep, missing all but one of his seven shots from beyond the arc, and he's made just four of his 25 three-pointers over his last four outings. Morant has also failed to reach the 20-point mark in his last three contests, so this has been a disappointing start to the season for him and for fantasy managers who took a chance on him and decided to draft him in the early rounds.

Morant had 18 points (5-16 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds, 10 assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Monday's 114-106 loss to Detroit.
Morant has never been a lights-out, three-point shooter, but he's been particularly bad on that end to start the season, going 5-for-36 from distance. He doesn't seem to be happy with how things are going in Memphis, and that has shown up in his play, as he's opened the year with forgettable averages of 20.4 points, 7.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 2.9 turnovers per game, which has him ranked outside the top 100.

Grizzlies' Ja Morant: Available to play
Morant (suspension) will be available to play Monday against the Pistons.
After serving his one-game suspension Sunday against the Raptors for conduct detrimental to the team, Morant is not appearing on the injury report. It will certainly be interesting to see how he responds in his first game back. With Morant expected back in the lineup, Cam Spencer and Javon Small could see reduced roles.
