Top Zaccharie Risacher News

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Puts up 22 points in win

Risacher amassed 22 points (9-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 27 minutes during Sunday's 132-119 victory over the 76ers.

Risacher didn't do much aside from scoring the rock. Still, fantasy managers should be happy to see the rookie being more consistent in the scoring column in recent weeks. This was the third time he cleared the 20-point mark over his last seven games, a stretch in which he's averaging 16.9 points per game while shooting an impressive 53.5 percent from the floor.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Scores 16 points

Risacher registered 16 points (7-13 FG, 2-8 3Pt) and two rebounds in 23 minutes during Sunday's 122-114 loss to Brooklyn.

The rookie has managed to solidify his position as a starter, and while there have been some ups and downs, he's been productive across the board. Risacher has scored in double digits in five of his eight March appearances, reaching the 20-point mark twice in that span.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Balanced effort in loss

Risacher finished Friday's 121-98 loss to the Clippers with 15 points (6-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two steals in 36 minutes.

Risacher has now alternated double-digit scoring efforts in his last seven games, posting single-digit points in three of these appearances. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick has still been solid overall since the All-Star break as he continues to develop, averaging 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.7 blocks and 2.2 three-pointers in 27.6 minutes while shooting 44.8 percent from deep over his last 12 outings.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Goes for 22 points Monday

Risacher ended Monday's 132-123 victory over Philadelphia with 22 points (9-16 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 31 minutes.

The rookie continues to go through the ups and downs of a grueling first season in the NBA, but he seems to be trending in the right direction. Risacher has surpassed the 20-point mark in two of his last five outings, averaging 14.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and a combined 1.6 steals-plus-blocks in five outings this month. To put things into perspective, he averaged 12.8 points per game in February and 11.9 points per game in January.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Leads charge in comeback win

Risacher ended Monday's 132-130 win over the Grizzlies with a team-high 27 points (11-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt), one rebound, one block and four steals in 32 minutes.

It was the 19-year-old's best scoring effort since Jan. 30, when Risacher poured in 30 points against the Cavs. The first overall pick in the 2024 Draft also set a new career high with four steals, and while his production has been erratic on occasion, he continues to flash his impressive upside. Risacher has drained multiple three-pointers in six of the last seven games, averaging 14.0 points, 5.1 boards, 2.6 threes, 1.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks over that stretch while shooting an eye-popping 52.9 percent (18-for-34) from beyond the arc.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Muted performance in win

Risacher closed with two points (1-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Monday's 98-86 victory over Miami.

This was a tough showing for the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, but this was just a bump in the road of what's been a pretty good month. Through 10 February outings, Risacher has averaged 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.8 three-pointers in 25.2 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Balanced game in high-scoring loss

Risacher ended Sunday's 148-143 loss to Detroit with 19 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals in 31 minutes.

Risacher did all he could on both ends of the floor Sunday to help Atlanta in a high-scoring affair, finishing second on the team in threes made and steals awhile recording a team-high-tying pair of blocks and concluding one point short of the 20-point mark. Risacher has tallied 19 or more points in three outings, having reached double figures in scoring in six straight contests.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Double-double vs. Orlando

Risacher finished with 11 points (4-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt), 12 rebounds, one block and one steal across 24 minutes during Thursday's 114-108 loss to Orlando.

The 2024 first-overall pick struggled with his shot Thursday, but Risacher managed to finish as the Hawks' leading rebounder and logged the first double-double of his NBA career. He has averaged 13.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 24.3 minutes per game since the beginning of February, but Risacher should be in line for a heavier workload down the stretch as Atlanta attempts to make a late push towards the playoffs.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Turns in efficient 18 points

Risacher closed with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound and one assist over 24 minutes during Saturday's 125-111 victory over the Wizards.

Although Risacher didn't provide much production across the board, he turned in an efficient 18 points Saturday. It's been an up-and-down rookie season for the 2024 No. 1 overall pick, but Risacher has been solid for the Hawks lately. Over his last seven games, he's averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.1 threes in 24.0 minutes while shooting 45.5 percent from deep.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Serviceable performance yet again

Risacher supplied 17 points (5-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Monday's 132-130 victory over the Pistons.

Risacher continues to play well on the offensive end of the floor, scoring at least 17 points for the third straight game. Despite the recent uptick in scoring, Risacher's playing time has been a little underwhelming of late. He has seen upwards of 26 minutes only once in the past four games since returning from injury. It appears he will remain in the starting lineup, but whether his playing time increases remains to be seen.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Game-high 30 points in return

Risacher dropped 30 points (11-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 3-6 FT), two steals, one rebound and one assist in 25 minutes during Thursday's 137-115 loss to the Cavaliers.

The rookie forward showed no signs of rust in just his second game back from an adductor injury that sidelined him for seven of his last eight games. As expected, his time on the court was limited, but he produced nonetheless, putting up the second-best scoring performance of his young career and marking the first time he's logged more points than minutes played. His two steals were a nice addition to the fantasy output, but that aside he didn't contribute much in other facets of the game. With Jalen Johnson (shoulder) ruled out for the season, Risacher should be expected to carry a larger role in head coach Quin Snyder's offense going forward.

  • Hawks' Zaccharie Risacher: Not listed on injury report

Risacher (adductor) isn't listed on the Hawks' injury report for Thursday's game against the Cavaliers.

Risacher was downgraded from questionable to out ahead of Tuesday's game against the Rockets, but the rookie will return to action Thursday, presumably in a starting role given Jalen Johnson (shoulder) is now out for the season. However, Risacher has appeared in only one game since Jan. 14, so he'll likely still face some restrictions. When Risacher has played at least 25 minutes this season (18 games), he's averaged 13.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks in 28.4 minutes per game.
