Wizards' Will Riley: Sees 31 minutes Sunday
Riley finished Sunday's 129-112 loss to the Hornets with 11 points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, four assists and one steal across 31 minutes.
After logging just 12 and four minutes in his previous two outings, Riley cracked the 30-minute mark for the third time this season and delivered a decent all-around performance. The rookie forward has flashed legitimate upside when given extended run. In 10 games with at least 25 minutes, Riley is averaging 14.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 2.0 threes and 1.3 steals, although it remains difficult to trust any player in the Wizards rotation right now.

Wizards' Will Riley: Only four minutes Thursday
Riley amassed six points (2-2 FG, 2-3 FT) in four minutes during Thursday's 112-105 victory over the Pacers.
As the league attempts to limit the tanking epidemic, Washington appears as though it missed the memo. The rotations continue to baffle even the most knowledgeable of fans, making fantasy value almost impossible to project. Seen as an up-and-coming prospect, common sense tells us that Riley should be playing a sizeable role. However, he logged just four minutes in the win despite hitting both of his shot attempts. Given what we saw Thursday, trusting anyone on this roster could end up being a recipe for disaster.

Wizards' Will Riley: Struggles in loss
Riley posted four points (1-12 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 138-113 loss to the Cavaliers.
Riley scored in single digits for the second straight game, seemingly having lost his shooting touch. Despite the poor production, it does appear as though he could be locked into a relatively consistent role moving forward, something that certainly can't be said for a number of his teammates. Assuming you can deal with some inefficient shooting, Riley remains someone worth rostering given the fact that he should see close to 30 minutes per game.

Wizards' Will Riley: Reverting to bench Sunday
Riley is not in the Wizards' starting lineup against the Heat on Sunday.
The rookie first-rounder is coming off a career performance Saturday against the Nets, when he tallied 27 points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and four three-pointers over 45 minutes. Riley has seen more playing time as of late and has averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals over his last five outings, but he will come off the bench Sunday due to the returns of Bilal Coulibaly and Kyshawn George.

Wizards' Will Riley: Scores career-high 27 points
Riley generated 27 points (10-19 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block across 45 minutes of Saturday's 127-113 loss to Brooklyn.
The Wizards had just eight players available Saturday, allowing for Riley to make his second career start. He played 15 more minutes than his previous career high, and his 27 points were also a new best. Riley has etched out a steady role with the Wizards as a rookie, and he's now scored in double figures in five consecutive games. In 43 regular-season appearances thus far, Riley is averaging 7.0 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 16.2 minutes.

Wizards' Will Riley: Starting vs. Brooklyn
Riley will start against the Nets on Saturday.
The Wizards have only eight players available for the front end of this back-to-back set, so Riley will join the starting five for the second time this season and should see significant minutes. The rookie first-rounder has scored in double figures in four straight games, averaging 17.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.8 steals across 27.3 minutes per game during that span.

Wizards' Will Riley: Powers team to victory
Riley closed Thursday's 126-117 win over the Pistons with 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals over 29 minutes.
Riley benefitted from a thin rotation Thursday as the team is still working to finalize several trades that went down before the deadline. He led the Wizards in scoring despite being deployed off the bench, marking the first time in his career he's reached the 20-point mark. Riley is certainly making a strong case to remain involved in the rotation even after the club is at full strength.

Wizards' Will Riley: Heating up from deep
Riley ended Tuesday's 132-101 loss to the Knicks with 17 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and one assist across 25 minutes.
Despite coming off the bench, Riley actually wound up leading the Wizards in scoring during Tuesday's lopsided affair. If Washington decides to move Khris Middleton's expiring contract prior to Thursday's trade deadline, the door to more playing time could open for Riley. The rookie first-rounder has shown glimpses of his potential across his last seven outings, during which he has averaged 11.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.3 three-pointers in 22.0 minutes per game while shooting 45.7 percent from downtown.

Wizards' Will Riley: Buries four treys
Riley chipped in 18 points (6-15 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal in 30 minutes during Sunday's 116-112 win over the Kings.
Riley did the majority of his damage from beyond the arc, helping him to lead the Wizards in scoring despite being deployed off the bench. The Illinois product has been feeling good from downtown of late, now converting on seven of his last 15 attempts over the last two games. It was promising to see Riley play key minutes in a tightly contested matchup, with his 30 minutes on the court marking a new career high for the rookie forward.

Wizards' Will Riley: Tallies four swipes in loss
Riley finished with 13 points (5-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt), five assists, four steals and two rebounds over 25 minutes during Friday's 142-111 loss to the Lakers.
Although Riley struggled with efficiency from the field, he still scored in double figures for the second time over his last five outings. The rookie first-rounder saw increased playing time in the blowout win and turned in a solid all-around performance. He set career highs in both assists and steals, leading the Wizards in swipes. The 19-year-old forward has seen double-digit minutes in each of Washington's last nine outings and may continue to see meaningful playing time with the Wizards seemingly focusing on their youth movement.

Wizards' Will Riley: Headed to bench
Riley will come off the bench for Tuesday's game versus the Trail Blazers.
Riley received a spot start in Saturday's loss to the Hornets with Khris Middleton (foot) unavailable, but Middleton is back and starting Tuesday, which will shift Riley back to the second unit. As a reserve this season, Riley has posted averages of 5.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game.

Wizards' Will Riley: First NBA start Saturday
Riley is in the Wizards' starting lineup against the Hornets on Saturday.
With Khris Middleton (foot) sidelined, Riley will enter the Wizards' starting lineup for the first time in his NBA career. Riley has averaged 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 0.9 assists over 18.6 minutes per game over his last nine outings, but Saturday presents an opportunity for the rookie first-rounder to earn a larger role for himself in the Wizards' rotation.

Wizards' Will Riley: Reaches double digits in scoring
Riley amassed 13 points (4-10 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 21 minutes during Thursday's 107-97 loss to the Nuggets.
With Trae Young (knee) still several weeks away from making his team debut, Riley has a considerable runway to extra minutes. Even so, the rookie first-rounder has averaged just 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 18.7 minutes per contest over nine games this month and doesn't yet carry much fantasy appeal.

Wizards' Will Riley: Recalled from G League
The Wizards recalled Riley from the G League's Capital City Go-Go on Friday.
Riley joined Capital City for its last two wins over the Motor City Cruise on Wednesday and Friday, though he'll rejoin the Wizards for Friday's game against the Pelicans. Over his last five appearances with the parent club, the rookie first-rounder has averaged 6.4 points and 3.0 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per tilt.

Wizards' Will Riley: Tallies 10 points off bench
Riley amassed 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 115-101 loss to the Suns.
Riley contributed across the board and was one of three bench players to score in double digits. This was a nice response from the rookie forward, who was held scoreless across 19 minutes Sunday against Memphis. Riley is averaging 7.1 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 18.2 minutes over 11 December appearances, and there should continue to be minutes available as Washington periodically rests Khris Middleton.

Wizards' Will Riley: Lackluster results in win
Riley finished with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and one block across 19 minutes during Sunday's 116-112 victory over the Grizzlies.
Despite being held scoreless, Riley has another opportunity for minutes in Monday's game against the Suns in the absences of the resting Khris Middleton, Kyshawn George (hip) and Corey Kispert (hamstring). However, Riley hasn't scored in double figures since the Dec. 14 win in Indiana.

Wizards' Will Riley: Scores 12 points off bench
Riley totaled 12 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and one rebound across 23 minutes during Sunday's 108-89 victory over Indiana.
The Wizards are missing several key players, which allowed Riley to operate as the sixth man Sunday. He's averaged 10.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 23.5 minutes per game over his last five contests, so the rise in playing time hasn't translated into a significant bump in fantasy value.
