  • Jazz's Vince Williams: Out for season

Williams has been diagnosed with a torn left ACL and will miss the remainder of the season, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. An MRI on Tuesday confirmed the diagnosis. A timetable has yet to be announced, but his absence will likely extend into the 2026-27 season. Williams made a total of 40 appearances between the Grizzlies and Jazz, averaging 7.5 points, 4.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per contest.

  • Jazz's Vince Williams: Headed for further testing

Williams is feared to have suffered a significant injury to his left knee and will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports. Williams suffered the injury during Monday's clash against Houston and was unable to return to the game. Todd also notes that the 25-year-old was spotted leaving the arena on crutches. The Jazz will presumably hold off on providing any additional updates on the severity of Williams' injury until the testing is completed.

  • Jazz's Vince Williams: Tossed vs. Blazers

Williams was ejected from Thursday's game against Portland after being assessed two technical fouls, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports. He'll end the night with six points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and three rebounds in seven minutes. Williams was quickly assessed a pair of technical fouls after he disagreed with a call. Svi Mykhailiuk and John Konchar could pick up additional playing time the rest of the way Thursday in Williams' absence.

  • Jazz's Vince Williams: Ready to go Saturday

Williams (recently traded) is not listed on Utah's injury report ahead of Saturday's game against Orlando. Williams was part of the Grizzlies' trade package to the Jazz on Tuesday that also included John Konchar, Jock Landale and centerpiece Jaren Jackson. With the trade finalized, Williams and the other Utah newcomers are in line to make their debut with their new team Saturday. The fourth-year pro served mostly in a rotational role off the bench with the Grizzlies prior to Tuesday's trade, and he is averaging 8.0 points, 4.4 assists, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 threes and 0.8 steals over 21.6 minutes per game this season. Williams will be competing primarily with Svi Mykhailiuk and Brice Sensabaugh for minutes off Utah's bench.

  • Jazz's Vince Williams: Won't play Thursday

Williams (trade pending) is out for Thursday's game against the Hawks. The trade sending Williams to Utah has not yet been finalized, so Williams won't be available for Thursday's game. The fourth-year guard will likely make his Jazz debut Saturday against the Magic.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Moves to bench

Williams will come off the bench for Monday's game against the Timberwolves. Williams drew a rare start Saturday with Memphis missing several key starters, but he'll return to the bench for Monday's matchup. He's averaging 7.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his last seven appearances as a reserve.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Versatility on display

Williams registered 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt), five rebounds, four assists and one block in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 112-97 loss to the Hornets. Williams was quite productive in his 20 minutes of action. The second-round draft pick is now in his fourth season and continues to show his wide range of skills, albeit in limited action. Memphis will be without Ja Morant (elbow) for at least the next three weeks, which should grant Williams more opportunities going forward.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Solid line in loss

Williams totaled seven points (3-15 FG, 1-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 108-99 loss to Houston. With Ja Morant (elbow) out for a while, Williams does have a window to provide some streaming appeal. However, Cam Spencer has been getting the bulk of the point guard reps lately. Over Williams' last five games, he's seeing 19.8 minutes per contest with 6.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.4 three-pointers.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Scores 13 points with five assists

Williams closed Friday's 117-116 loss to the Thunder with 13 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one block in 23 minutes. Williams looked fine in his return from a one-game absence, so he should be good to go for Sunday's game against the Nets. The 25-year-old guard is averaging 7.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Game-time call for Friday

Williams (knee) is questionable for Friday's game against Oklahoma City. Williams has missed nine of his team's last 10 games while tending to a knee injury, and he's not in the clear just yet. The team should have an update on his availability closer to Friday's tipoff.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Ruled out for Wednesday

Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Suns, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. Ja Morant (calf) will be a game-time call Wednesday evening, but if he's forced to join Williams on the sidelines, Cam Spencer would be slated for major minutes. Williams' next chance to play will come Friday versus the Thunder.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Questionable for Tuesday

Williams (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Spurs. Williams has missed eight straight matchups while dealing with a left knee issue, but this is the first time he's been upgraded to questionable since suffering the injury. The team will presumably keep a close eye on him during shootaround and pregame warmups before determining whether he'll suit up.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Remaining out vs. Washington

Williams (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Wizards. Williams will miss his fifth consecutive matchup due to a lingering left knee injury. The 25-year-old's next opportunity to play will come Tuesday against Philadelphia.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Won't play Tuesday

Williams (knee) is out for Tuesday's game against the Jazz. The swingman's next chance to play comes Friday against the Bucks. His absence solidifies Jaylen Wells' streaming appeal and helps the case of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in deep leagues.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Won't play Saturday

Williams has been ruled out for Saturday's game versus the Wizards due to left knee soreness. With both Williams and Ja Morant (ankle) unavailable for Saturday's game, Cam Spencer should get some time to shine as a starter and Jock Landale could see an uptick in minutes. Williams' next chance to play will come Monday in Oklahoma City, which will be the first game of a back-to-back set.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Plays 25 minutes in loss

Williams notched five points (1-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and four assists over 25 minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 win over the Timberwolves. With Ja Morant (ankle) sidelined, Williams saw a larger role despite coming off the bench and ended up leading the team in assists with four. Williams has shown he is capable of taking on facilitator duties if necessary, and if Morant misses more time, the former will continue to do so.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Career-high 17 dimes Wednesday

Williams supplied five points (2-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, 17 assists, one block and two steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 133-128 overtime victory over New Orleans. Just three games after setting a new career high with 15 assists in a win over the Kings on Nov. 20, Williams produced even better distribution numbers. The fourth-year guard has started five straight games while Ja Morant (calf) is on the shelf, and while his shooting remains erratic, Williams is averaging 7.8 points, 10.8 assists, 6.6 boards and 1.4 steals in 27.4 minutes a contest during this stretch.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Another double-double

Williams finished with 10 points (3-9 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and two steals over 24 minutes during Saturday's 102-96 victory over the Mavericks. Williams continues to serve as the makeshift point guard in Memphis, recording his second straight double-double, albeit with points and rebounds. While his points will fluctuate from one game to the next, he should be a reliable source of assists and steals while also providing out-of-position rebounds. He's worth rostering in all fantasy formats.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Starting Tuesday

Williams is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game in San Antonio. Ja Morant (calf) is out, so Williams will draw the start and be joined in the first unit by Jaylen Wells, Cedric Coward, Jaren Jackson and Zach Edey. In Williams' previous start this season, he finished with 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and three triples over 25 minutes in a loss to the Celtics on Wednesday.

  • Grizzlies' Vince Williams: Leaves for locker room Saturday

Williams exited to the locker room after sustaining an apparent right ankle injury in the second quarter of Saturday's game against the Cavaliers, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports. Williams turned his right ankle on a drive to the basket in the final minute of the first half and limped back to the locker room. If the 25-year-old swingman is unable to return for the second half, Cedric Coward, John Konchar and Cam Spencer are candidates for a bump in minutes the rest of the way.
