  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Logs 21 points in loss

Nembhard posted 21 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six assists and four rebounds over 33 minutes during the Pacers' 135-119 loss to the Cavaliers on Monday. It was the sixth time in 13 regular-season games that Nembhard posted 20 or more points in a game, and he finished Monday's contest as the Pacers' second-leading scorer behind Pascal Siakam (26 points). Nembhard is averaging 17.5 points, 6.2 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals over 31.0 minutes per game to open the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Playing vs. Chicago

Nembhard (quadriceps) is available for Saturday's game against the Bulls, head coach Rick Carlisle told Tony East of Forbes.com. Nembhard sat out Friday's win over the Wizards, but he'll be back for this matchup against the Bulls. The floor general is averaging 18.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists per game in November. He should handle a sizable usage rate as one of the Pacers' go-to options on offense alongside Pascal Siakam.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Ruled out Friday

Nembhard (quadriceps) is out for Friday's game against the Wizards. Friday is the first part of a back-to-back set for Indiana, and head coach Rick Carlisle is hopeful that Nembhard will return Saturday against the Bulls, per Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star. T.J. McConnell appears to be the most likely candidate to replace Nembhard in the starting lineup, and Ben Sheppard should see an uptick in minutes as well.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Questionable to play Friday

Nembhard is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards due to a right quadriceps contusion. The Pacers can't afford more injuries to their roster, but now it seems a decision on Nembhard will be made closer to Friday's 7:30 p.m. ET tipoff. If Nembhard is unable to go, expect T.J. McConnell to be promoted to a starting role in the backcourt.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Modest production Wednesday

Nembhard had nine points (2-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, four assists and two steals over 35 minutes during Wednesday's 97-95 loss to the Raptors. Nembhard struggled to find any rhythm, shooting poorly from both the field and the charity stripe. While nights like this are to be expected from a player who has been thrust into a sizeable role, Nembhard remains a clear must-roster player across all formats. In seven games over the past two weeks, he has averaged 18.1 points, 6.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.9 three-pointers.

Nembhard returned to action after missing the previous seven games due to a left shoulder strain. He slotted straight back into the starting lineup and was operating with no restrictions, as he led the Pacers in minutes. Seen as a potential breakout candidate this season, Nembhard will be looking to make up for lost time after going down with the injury in the Pacers' first game of the campaign.

Nembhard was fantastic in the Game 6 win, playing elite defense, and limiting Jalen Brunson to just 19 points. The six steals marked a career high, coming just when the Pacers needed them the most. Although his offensive production can be a little unpredictable at times, he typically provides the team with a consistent defensive presence alongside Aaron Nesmith. Indiana will now face Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals, the first time the Pacers have reached the top of the mountain since 2000.
