Agbaji finished Saturday's 131-128 overtime victory over the Kings with 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes.
Agbaji looked like a completely different player from beyond the arc in this one after going 0-for-3 from downtown Friday night against the Lakers. The Kansas product turned in his best mark of the season in the scoring column and in an efficient way. It's not fair to expect this type of showing from Agbaji on a nightly basis, but he should continue to have chances to step up while Scottie Barnes (orbital) and Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) are out of the lineup.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Team option picked up
Rotowire
The Raptors exercised the 2025-26 team option on Agbaji's contract Tuesday, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
With RJ Barrett (shoulder) sidelined to start the season, Agbaji was thrust into a starting role and averaged 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals in 27.3 minutes over Toronto's first three regular-season games. Barrett made his season debut Monday, but the Raptors remain shorthanded with Immanuel Quickley (pelvis) and Scottie Barnes (head) nursing injuries, so Agbaji should continue to play a prominent role. With the transaction, Agbaji is now under contract through the 2025-26 season.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Solid production versus Minnesota
Rotowire
Agbaji had 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's 112-101 loss to Minnesota.
With RJ Barrett (shoulder) sidelined, Agbaji has started three straight games at small forward, and his offensive productivity has increased in each of those games. Over his last two appearances, Agbaji has totaled 31 points, 10 boards, three assists and four steals. As long as Barrett remains out, Agbaji should draw some deep-league streaming interest.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Drops 16 points in victory
Rotowire
Ogbaji compiled 16 points (6-11 FG, 1-6 3PT, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Friday's preseason win over the Nets.
Agbaji had his most complete performance of the preseason, continuing to play an increased role as a result of injuries to both RJ Barrett (shoulder ) and Bruce Brown (knee). Despite an encouraging effort, Agbaji is unlikely to crack the standard-league discussion in fantasy this season. Given what we have seen thus far in his career, he would likely need upwards of 30 minutes per night to sniff sustainable value.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Working on jumper
Rotowire
Agbaji (lower leg) was seen with coach Darko Rajakovic working on his hand placement for his jump shot, Esfandiar Baraheni of Forbes.com reports.
Agbaji struggled mightily with his outside shot in 2023-24, converting just 29.4 percent of his 2.7 three-point attempts per contest. If the 24-year-old forward can become a more reliable shooter, he should receive increased playing time in Toronto's forward rotation.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Moves to bench
Rotowire
Agbaji isn't starting Friday's game against the Heat.
The Raptors have elected to shake up the starting five, rolling with Gary Trent at shooting guard and Gradey Dick at small forward. Agbaji will come off the bench as a result but should still play a big role in the rotation.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Questionable for Friday
Rotowire
Agbaji (hip) is questionable for Friday's game against the Bucks, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
Agbaji has missed the past three games for Toronto, but this is the first time he's received the questionable tag since going down, which indicates progress. We'll have a better idea on his status based on his activity level at Friday's shootaround, but if he is able to get back to the floor, there will be fewer minutes available for Gradey Dick and Jordan Nwora.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Out again Tuesday
Rotowire
Agbaji (hip) will not play Tuesday against the Lakers, Doug Smith of the Toronto Star reports.
Agbaji will miss his second straight game Tuesday, and it's not a good sign that he's getting ruled out a day in advance. Fortunately for Toronto, they are expected to have Immanuel Quickley (personal) and RJ Barrett (conditioning) back in the mix Tuesday.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Won't play Sunday
Rotowire
Agbaji (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 76ers, Eric Koreen of The Athletic reports.
Agbaji suffered a right hip contusion Wednesday against the Knicks and underwent medical testing that came back clean. However, he's still sore and will be forced to miss at least one game. It's not yet clear whether he'll be unavailable for additional games, but his next chance to return will be Tuesday against the Lakers.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Leaves early with hip contusion
Rotowire
Agbaji won't return to Wednesday's game against the Knicks due to a right hip contusion, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Agbaji missed his only field-goal attempt and recorded one rebound and one assist while playing just five minutes before exiting the contest. The second-year player made his 13th straight start Wednesday and had averaged 28.3 minutes over his previous 12 outings, but he could be in store for a reduction in playing time in the Raptors' next game Sunday against the 76ers if the hip injury doesn't keep him out. Toronto could get two major cogs in the rotation in RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley back Sunday from multi-game absences due to personal matters after both rejoined the team for practice Tuesday before being ruled out Wednesday for conditioning purposes.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Leaves early Tuesday
Rotowire
Agbaji won't return to Tuesday's game against the Pelicans due to left knee soreness, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports. He finished with three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and three rebounds in 16 minutes.
The Raptors were already thin heading into Tuesday's contest with Scottie Barnes (hand), Jakob Poeltl (finger) and Bruce Brown (knee) sidelined, so Toronto will be hoping that Agbaji's injury proves to be a minor concern. If Agbaji and the other three injured Raptors are all out for Thursday's game in Phoenix, Jordan Nwora and Gradey Dick could both see more opportunities.

Raptors' Ochai Agbaji: Best showing for new team
Rotowire
Agbaji totaled 14 points (5-6 FG, 4-5 3Pt), four rebounds, one block and one steal across 17 minutes off the bench during Friday's 123-121 victory over the Hawks.
After managing only 15 points across his first four games as a Raptor, Agbaji nearly matched that total in one night Friday. RJ Barrett (knee) being out may have helped Agbaji get into a groove, but when the Toronto roster is fully healthy it's not clear if there will be a significant role for the 14th overall pick in the 2022 Draft.

Jazz's Ochai Agbaji: Non-factor in win
Rotowire
Agbaji totaled two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one rebound in 15 minutes during Monday's 132-116 victory over the Bucks.
Agbaji has failed to exceed five points in each of his past seven games. On Monday, 10 players for Utah logged at least 15 minutes, which is indicative of the team's depth and crunch for minutes at times. The second-year guard flashed continued promise earlier this season, logging 7.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals on 48.3 percent shooting in 27.3 minutes across 10 games as a starter, but he hasn't cracked the starting lineup since Dec. 11 against Oklahoma City.
