Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Pops for 16 points in loss
Stewart closed with 16 points (7-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes during Friday's 111-104 loss to the Rockets.
Stewart dropped 16 points, the most he has scored in his past five appearances. Despite playing a consistent role off the bench, Stewart has been inconsistent, particularly on the offensive end of the floor. With season averages of 10.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks, he should be viewed as more of a stream-level player as opposed to someone who needs to be rostered.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Blocks two shots in 22 minutes
Stewart chipped in four points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and two blocks across 22 minutes during Thursday's 108-105 victory over Phoenix.
Stewart wasn't all that involved in the offense in his return from a one-game absence, but he still came through with the defensive stats. Stewart ranks second in total blocks (72) this season, so he's worth rostering in most fantasy leagues as a shot-blocking specialist.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Upgraded to available

As expected, the Pistons have upgraded Stewart from probable to available despite an illness. With Tobias Harris (hip) also cleared to play, Stewart is set to ride with the second unit. Stewart has averaged 9.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 22.0 minutes per contest across 23 appearances as a reserve this year.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Downgraded to questionable
Stewart is now questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers due to an illness.
Stewart is a late addition to the injury report, as he woke up Saturday feeling under the weather. The big man has stepped into a larger role due to the absences of Tobias Harris (hip) and Jalen Duren (ankle), so if Stewart can't play Saturday, the Pistons would have to lean heavily on Paul Reed, Ronald Holland and Tolu Smith in the frontcourt. Per Jacob Richman of Mlive.com, Stewart wasn't at Saturday morning's shootaround.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Ruled out Saturday
Stewart (illness) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Clippers.
Stewart was a late addition to the injury report due to an illness and will miss his first game since Nov. 12. With the 24-year-old big man joining Jalen Duren (ankle) and Tobias Harris (hip) on the sidelines, plenty of minutes will be available for Paul Reed, Ronald Holland and Javonte Green, while Isaac Jones and Tolu Smith are candidates to enter the rotation. Stewart's next opportunity to play will come Thursday against the Suns.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Sets career high in points
Stewart generated 31 points (14-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks across 30 minutes of Wednesday's 108-93 win over the Bulls.
Stewart bested his previous career high of 26 points, scoring at an unprecedented efficiency level Wednesday. The big man has stepped into a larger role over the past four games due to the absences of Jalen Duren (ankle) and Tobias Harris (hip), and he's averaging 13.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.0 blocks across 31.0 minutes during that span.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Strong defensive showing Sunday
Stewart had eight points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, three blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 win over Cleveland.
With the Detroit frontcourt depleted by injuries to Jalen Duren (ankle) and Tobias Harris (hip), Stewart made his second straight start and had another impressive performance on defense. It was the second time this season the 24-year-old center has recorded multiple steals and multiple blocks in the same game, and in 15 appearances since the beginning of December he's averaged 9.7 points, 4.8 boards, 2.5 blocks and 1.0 assists in 24.0 minutes per game.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Swats five shots in loss
Stewart chipped in six points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five blocks, four rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes during Thursday's 118-112 loss to the Heat.
With Tobias Harris (hip) sidelined, Stewart got the starting nod for the first time since Dec. 6. While the big man was unimpressive on the offensive end, he chipped in a game-high mark in blocks, matching his season high. He has posted at least one swat in nine straight games, averaging 2.3 blocks per game during that stretch. Stewart will likely continue to see an expanded role for as long as Harris is sidelined.

Stewart will start against the Heat on Thursday.
With Tobias Harris (hip) sidelined, Stewart will get the starting nod against Miami. In seven starts so far this season, the big man has averaged 13.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 blocks and 1.4 assists across 25.0 minutes per contest.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Scores 15 points in 18 minutes
Stewart finished Tuesday's 128-106 win over the Lakers with 15 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one block in 18 minutes.
Stewart didn't miss a shot Tuesday night, hitting the 15-point milestone for just the sixth time this season. The 24-year-old started the second half in place of Tobias Harris, who went down with a hip injury in the first quarter. Should Harris miss time, Stewart would be a strong candidate to enter the starting lineup. In seven starts this season, he's averaging 13.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 blocks across 25.0 minutes per tilt.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Another strong showing
Stewart closed with 14 points (5-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals over 31 minutes during Thursday's 116-114 overtime loss to Dallas.
With Tobias Harris posting a scoreless dud in 18 minutes of action, Stewart closed this game out for Detroit and saw extended run alongside Jalen Duren. That may be a trend that continues, and it's worth mentioning that Harris' expiring contract could potentially be moved ahead of the trade deadline.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Reverting back to bench
Stewart is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Hawks.
Tobias Harris is returning from a one-game absence due to an ankle injury, which is sending Stewart to the second unit. The 2020 first-rounder has averaged 8.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 21.2 minutes per contest across 14 games off the bench this season.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Drops 19 points in spot start
Stewart finished Saturday's 124-112 victory over Milwaukee with 19 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds and one block across 26 minutes.
Stewart moved into the starting lineup, replacing Tobias Harris, who was ruled out due to an ankle injury. While the 19 points were nice, Stewart's lack of peripherals was a little disappointing. On the whole, it's been a decent season thus far for Stewart, who is averaging 10.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game. If and when the roster is healthy, he should be viewed as a blocks specialist in standard formats.

Pistons' Isaiah Stewart: Starting sans Harris
Stewart will start against the Bucks on Saturday.
With Tobias Harris (ankle) sitting out the second half of this back-to-back set, Stewart will rejoin the starting five. In six starts so far this season, the big man has averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.7 assists across 24.8 minutes per contest.
