Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Steps up from bench with 19 points
Aldama totaled 19 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks and one steal in 20 minutes during Sunday's 140-112 victory over the Wizards.
Aldama lost his spot in the starting lineup upon Desmond Bane's return to action, but he continues to make a case for more playing time with excellent second-unit totals. He inflicted his multi-category damage in only 20 minutes, and we've already seen Aldama's upside while logging more time with the first unit. His recent performances warrant fantasy consideration in deeper formats despite his spot in the rotation.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Posts double-double off bench
Aldama supplied 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 10 rebounds and three steals in 29 minutes during Thursday's 115-110 win over Sacramento.
Even though Aldama has returned to a bench role as the Grizzlies have been getting healthier, he continues to find ways to remain relevant in most fantasy formats. This was his fourth double-double across his last nine bench appearances, a span in which he's averaging 15.2 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 26.6 minutes per contest. With Zach Edey (ankle) out for at least another week, Aldama should have a consistent role in Memphis' frontcourt.

Aldama closed with 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), four rebounds, six assists and one steal over 25 minutes during Sunday's 136-121 win over the Pacers.
Aldama continues to shine for Memphis, and it will be interesting to see what the frontcourt rotation looks like when Zach Edey (ankle) returns, possibly as soon as Tuesday. Over his last seven games, Aldama has produced impressive averages of 15.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.1 three-pointers.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Nabs double-double in win
Aldama finished Monday's 123-98 win over the Trail Blazers with 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), 17 rebounds and two assists over 22 minutes.
Aldama delivered his sixth double-double in 18 regular-season appearances and has totaled three over his last four outings. The 23-year-old dominated on the glass while supplying a game-high 17 rebounds and was the only player to reach the double-digit mark. In five outings since retreating to the bench, Aldama has averaged 13.8 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists across 25.2 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Strong showing off bench
Aldama finished Wednesday's 117-111 victory over the 76ers with 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and six assists in 27 minutes.
Aldama moved back to the bench with the return of Desmond Bane to the starting lineup, but that hasn't prevented the Spaniard from putting up solid numbers every time he's on the hardwood. Even though the move back to the second unit will limit his upside considerably, Aldama continues to contribute enough to remain valuable in most formats. He's averaging 12.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.1 steals per game while starting in seven of his 10 appearances since the beginning of November.

Aldama is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nuggets, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
With Desmond Bane (oblique) having made his return to game action in Friday's loss to Golden State, he will now replace Aldama in the starting five. The 23-year-old forward has carved out a significant role with the Grizzlies, averaging 12.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 0.8 steals across 29.0 minutes per game in 13 regular-season outings (11 starts).

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Excellent two-way play Wednesday
Aldama registered 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, five assists, one block and three steals in 29 minutes during Wednesday's 128-123 loss to the Lakers.
Aldama is making the most of Desmond Bane's absence due to an oblique injury, and he continues to deliver excellent two-way numbers every time he steps on the court. Aldama has scored in double digits while grabbing at least five rebounds in five games in a row, and he's averaging 12.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game in six November appearances.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Solid output in win
Aldama notched 12 points (5-13 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 32 minutes during Friday's 128-104 win over the Wizards.
Aldama is benefiting from the absence of Desmond Bane (oblique) to handle a bigger role on offense, and he's making the most of the opportunity, similar to what he did in 2023-24. Aldama has started in each of Memphis' last five games, a span in which he's averaging 12.2 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.8 steals per contest.

Aldama amassed 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 12 rebounds, three assists and one steal across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 131-114 victory over the Lakers.
Aldama got another start with Desmond Bane (oblique) sidelined, and the Spaniard continues to do what he does best -- rack up stats and fill the boxscore any time he gets decent minutes. Aldama has scored in double digits in five of his seven starts this season, and he's putting up 12.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 0.6 blocks per game when running with the first unit.

Aldama posted 19 points (7-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and a steal in 33 minutes as a starter during Thurday's 122-99 win over the Bucks, which was his fourth start through six regular-season games this season. However, he'll shift to the bench Saturday, making room for Jake LaRavia. Aldama's had mixed results in his two games off the bench this season. Aldama was inserted back into the Grizzlies' starting lineup Thursday due to injuries to Desmond Bane (oblique) and Marcus Smart (ankle). Aldama took advantage of the opportunity as he was one rebound shy of registering his second double-double of the regular season and was Memphis' second-leading scorer behind Ja Morant (26). As a starter, Aldama is averaging 14.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 30.5 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Posts double-double
Aldama accumulated 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), 13 rebounds, seven assists and one block across 35 minutes during Monday's 126-123 loss to the Bulls.
Aldama didn't have his best shooting performance Monday, but the lack of efficiency is secondary given how good he looked on both ends of the court. Aldama finished just three assists away from recording a triple-double, and even though he's expected to head back to a bench role when Ja Morant (thigh) returns, Aldama should remain valuable in fantasy as long as he sees enough minutes due to his ability to contribute in multiple ways.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Back in starting five Monday
Aldama will enter the starting lineup in Monday's matchup against the Bulls.
With Marcus Smart and Desmond Bane starting in the backcourt sans Ja Morant (thigh), Aldama will start at small forward. The 23-year-old has carved out a significant role with Memphis this season, and through three regular-season games he is averaging 17.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.0 blocks while shooting 63.3 percent from the floor across 27.0 minutes per game.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Tallies team-high 22 points
Aldama closed with 22 points (9-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt), seven rebounds, five assists and one block over 28 minutes during Saturday's 124-111 win over the Magic.
The 23-year-old scored a team-high 22 points while leading all scorers in the game besides Franz Wagner (23). Aldama has carved out a significant role with Memphis, and he even started the first two games when Jaren Jackson was out due to a hamstring injury. Aldama moved back to the bench Saturday, though it didn't prevent him from proving he could be a key depth piece for the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Not starting Saturday
Aldama is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Magic.
Aldama heads to the bench due to the return of Jaren Jackson, who missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury. However, Aldama should see consistent minutes off the bench given how good he looked when given extended playing time.

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Leads team in scoring
Aldama posted 27 points (10-16 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 126-124 win over Utah.
Aldama got the starting nod in Memphis' regular-season opener with Jaren Jackson (hamstring) out. Aldama repaid coach Taylor Jenkins' faith by leading the team in scoring during Wednesday's narrow victory. Aldama shot 34.9 percent on 5.0 three-point attempts per contest last season and is more than capable of providing spacing for Ja Morant to attack the rim.
