Heat's Josh Christopher: Misses practice Monday
Christopher missed Monday's practice due to a right big toe contusion, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Christopher's status for Wednesday's game against the Magic has yet to be determined, so fantasy managers should consider him questionable. However, Christopher is on a two-way contract with Miami and isn't guaranteed to crack the rotation on Opening Night, even if he's available.

Christopher recorded 23 points (8-11 FG, 6-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 102-73 Summer League win over the Thunder.
Christopher did the majority of his damage from beyond the arc, drilling six of eight tries to account for 18 of his 23 points. He easily paced the bench in scoring and did so in limited minutes. Christopher should have another opportunity to showcase his scoring ability Wednesday against the Mavs.

Josh Christopher: Gets cut Monday
The Jazz waived Christopher on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Utah cut Christopher loose from his two-way deal without the 2021 first-round pick having logged a minute at the NBA level this season. He was moderately efficient but turnover-prone at the G League level this season, though he remains a candidate to re-sign with the Jazz's affiliate -- the Salt Lake City Stars -- once he clears waivers.

Jazz's Josh Christopher: Lands two-way deal with Utah
Christopher agreed to a two-way deal with the Jazz on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
A 2021 first-round pick, Christopher played 138 games for the Rockets in the previous two seasons with averages of 6.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists. He was dealt to Memphis in the offseason as part of the deal that sent Dillon Brooks to Houston, but the Grizzlies didn't have a roster spot available for the 21-year-old guard and cut him in advance of training camp. Though he won't have much of an opportunity to contribute at the NBA level in Utah, Christopher at least provides the Jazz with an intriguing developmental prospect to fill out its third and final two-way spot.

Rockets' Josh Christopher: Sticks in rotation Sunday
Christopher registered two points (1-2 FG) across six minutes during Sunday's 108-91 loss to Cleveland.
Christopher played just six minutes in the loss, the fewest he has played in almost two weeks. Despite playing somewhat consistent minutes, Christopher is outside the top 300 over the past two weeks, begging the question of why head coach Stephen Silas refuses to play TyTy Washington. Questionable coaching decisions aside, Christopher remains well off the radar, outside of the deepest of leagues.
