Bucks' Andre Jackson: Tending to hip injury
Rotowire
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers revealed after Friday's 116-94 loss to the Knicks that Jackson dealt with a left hip pointer during the contest, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports.
Jackson made his second straight start on the wing in place of the struggling Gary Trent, who sat out Friday's contest with lower back spasms. After going 3-for-4 from the field and recording four steals in 28 minutes in Thursday's win over Utah, Jackson took a step back Friday, finishing with three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one assist and one block over 18 minutes. The drop in playing time was likely in part due to the blowout, though it's possible Jackson's hip pointer also contributed to his reduction in playing time. The second-year wing can be viewed as day-to-day heading into Sunday's game against the Celtics.

Bucks' Andre Jackson: Cracks starting lineup Thursday
Rotowire
Jackson will start in place of Gary Trent for Thursday's game against Utah, NBA reporter Chris Haynes reports.
The Bucks decided to make this change after an abysmal 1-6 start to the season. Whether this arrangement will last longer than Thursday night has yet to be determined, but Jackson is primed to make a case for a larger role in the rotation moving forward, especially with Giannis Antetokounmpo (thigh) questionable for Thursday's game.

Bucks' Andre Jackson: Season-high 25 minutes
Rotowire
Jackson posted seven points (2-7 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one block over 25 minutes during Monday's 116-114 loss to the Cavaliers.
Jackson's playing time had been increasing in recent games, but his season-high 25 minutes was largely due to Giannis Antetokounmpo's (thigh) absence. Regardless, Jackson took advantage of the opportunity by showcasing his skill set against a strong opponent. Even if Antetokounmpo returns soon, Jackson has a clear path to 15 minutes off the Bucks' bench, which has struggled to generate production early in the season.

Rotowire
The Bucks announced Friday that Jackson underwent successful surgery to repair a fracture of his left third finger that occurred during Tuesday's Summer League game against the Clippers but is expected to be a full participant in training camp.
Jackson saw a minimal role in his rookie year, averaging 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds in 10.0 minutes across 57 regular-season appearances. While Jackson is expected to head into the 2024-25 campaign healthy, he will likely compete for depth minutes in Milwaukee's forward rotation yet again.

Jackson (wrist) is good to go for Tuesday's game against the Suns.

Rotowire
Jackson (wrist) is probable for Sunday's game against the Jazz.

Rotowire
Jackson recorded nine points (4-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), six rebounds and four assists across 36 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 128-119 victory over the Rockets.
Jackson fouled out late in Sunday's matchup, but he posted a well-rounded stat line while serving as a starter for a second consecutive game. While he's seen plenty of playing time in a starting role, his usage will likely diminish once Malik Beasley (illness) is cleared to return.

Bucks' Andre Jackson: Suffers back injury
Rotowire
Jackson left Thursday's 120-113 overtime loss to the Bulls in the second half due to back tightness and didn't return.
Back injuries can be problematic, so the Bucks are being cautious with the rookie out of UConn. That said, the absence of Jackson shouldn't affect many fantasy lineups since he doesn't have a prominent role in the rotation. He tallied four points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two steals, one rebound and one assist in 14 minutes Thursday prior to his departure.
