Mavericks' Vsevolod Ishchenko: Headed to Dallas
The Bulls selected Ishchenko with the No. 56 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and traded him to the Lakers, who then traded him to the Mavericks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Dallas swooped in to nab Ishchenko by giving the Lakers cash. Ishchenko was a standout in Russia for Lokomotiv Kuban of VTB United, where he displayed an advanced and efficient offensive game. While it'll be more difficult for him to get to the rim at the NBA level, his 45-percent mark from deep could translate.
