Speedy WR Deonte Thompson, who went undrafted, made a lot of standout plays throughout offseason workouts and looks poised to compete for a roster spot. A final WR spot could come down between Thompson, sixth rounder Tommy Streeter and David Reed. At worst, Thompson could open 2011 on the practice squad.
