Buffalo’s offensive line was unable to establish a physical presence in the Bills’ 52-28 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday -- and it won’t get any easier over the next few weeks.

Not only do the Bills have difficult road games against San Francisco and Arizona next on the schedule, they’ll likely be without two starting offensive linemen in LT Cordy Glenn and RG Kraig Urbik.

Both players left Sunday’s game with ankle injuries. Coach Chan Gailey said on Monday that the duo will likely miss Buffalo’s next two games as a result.

“I would say it’s going to be a week or two,” Gailey said. “It may be two minimum on both of them, but we’re not going to rule out the second game today ... it’s probably two, but I don’t know about that.”

Urbik was spotted wearing a walking boot on his injured right foot in the locker room on Monday.

Second-year pro Chris Hairston and fifth-year pro Chad Rinehart will step in for Glenn and Urbik, respectively. Hairston started seven games one year ago for the Bills, while Rinehart started 12 games as Buffalo’s top swing guard.

“It’s not your ideal situation, obviously, but we’ve got guys that we have a comfort level with, that have played in games, so at least maybe we’re ahead of the game compared to two years ago,” Gailey said.
