The Bills announced the release of linebacker Keith Rivers on Tuesday.
By releasing Rivers, the Bills will save $1.7 million against the salary cap, reports ESPN.com. Rivers played in 12 games during the 2014 season and registered 16 tackles. During his seven-year career, he totaled 291 tackles and three sacks.
