QB Rhett Bomar and TE Andre Hardy were waived Monday, the team announced. Hardy, the son of former NFL running back Andre Hardy, played basketball in college but hasn’t played football since high school. Bomar, who was drafted by the Giants in the fifth round in 2009, hasn’t appeared in an NFL game.
