Former Browns quarterback Brian Hoyer will sign a two-year, $10 million deal with the Texans on Wednesday, reports CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora. Hoyer will receive $4.75 million guaranteed, La Canfora said.
Hoyer will compete with Ryan Mallett to be Houston's starter. Hoyer, 29, completed 55.3 percent of his passes for 3,326 yards and 12 touchdowns with 13 interceptions in 14 games with Cleveland last season.
