The Buccaneers are once again trying to avoid depth concerns at cornerback. After finishing with the worst pass defense in the NFL in 2012, the Bucs have lost cornerback Anthony Gaitor (knee) for the season, cornerback Danny Gorrer (groin) could miss a month and Darrelle Revis (knee) is still uncertain for the opener.
Yet, coach Greg Schiano hasn't hit the panic button yet. While adding Revis in the offseason, the Bucs also signed veteran Mike Adams , drafted Johnathan Banks in the second round and signed undrafted rookie free agents Rashaan Melvin and Deveron Carr.
"We have enough right now, but if we lose any more it's going to get dicey," Schiano said. "Not dicey like last year dicey. That was really dicey. But that has actually put us in a better position now."
