Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said during his Monday press conference that Ryan Lindley will start at quarterback in Week 16 at Seattle, but the team will have a package of plays for rookie Logan Thomas as well, according to the Arizona Republic.
"Go sling it, baby. There's a reason you're here," Arians told Lindley in private when he named him the starter.
Arians went with Lindley over Thomas after Drew Stanton suffered a knee sprain against the Rams in Week 15. Lindley managed to keep his team ahead, completing 4 of 10 passes for 30 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in relief.
