Bad news for the secondary was accompanied by good news for the linebacking corps for the Colts on Friday. Both safety Delano Howell (neck) and cornerback Greg Toler (groin) have been ruled out for the Week 10 game against visiting St. Louis, but premier linebacker Robert Mathis (shoulder) practiced fully the last two days and is probable.
Also probable are wideout Darrius Heyward-Bey (shoulder) and linebacker Cam Johnson (knee). Running back Trent Richardson (ankle) and guard Hugh Thornton (calf) are questionable. Cornerback Josh Gordy (groin) and nose tackle Josh Chapman (knee) will be inactive.
