The 2025 NFL Draft kicks off Thursday as the future stars of the league find their new homes, and those looking to place wagers on the draft can use the latest DraftKings promo code to do so. This promotion gives new users $200 in bonus bets after a first wager of $5.

Here's everything you need to know about the DraftKings promo code, including how to claim it and how it compares to new-user promotions from other sportsbooks. Additionally, we'll take a closer look at the 2025 NFL Draft.

How to claim DraftKings' promo code

The latest DraftKings promo code is only available to new users who have never signed up for the sportsbook before. Additionally, users must be of legal age and reside in a state where DraftKings operates.

To receive $200 in bonus bets, you can join DraftKings by clicking 'CLAIM BONUS' on this page. Enter all required information, including legal name, date of birth, address and email address. Once your account is set up, deposit and wager at least $5. Your account will then receive $200 in bonus bets in the form of eight $25 bonus bet tokens within 72 hours of your first wager being settled. Your first bet doesn't need to win in order to receive these bonus bet funds. The bonus bet tokens expire seven days after you receive them. Additionally, any bet you win using bonus bet tokens only pays out the winnings -- not the stake.

DraftKings promo comparison

DraftKings and other top sportsbooks are offering promotions for new users ahead of the NFL Draft. Here's how they stack up to one another.

DraftKings, FanDuel and bet365 are all offering "bet and get" promotions, but in different ways. All require a first bet of $5 to receive bonus bet funds, with FanDuel offering $250, DraftKings $200 and bet365 $150. At FanDuel, your first bet must win in order to receive the bonus bets, but there's no minimum odds requirement for that first wager. You don't need to win your first wager with DraftKings or bet365. DraftKings pays out its bonus bets via eight $25 bonus bet tokens, while FanDuel and bet365 credit your account with a lump sum, allowing users to wager those funds as they see fit.

BetMGM and Fanatics offer bet insurance for new users. At BetMGM, your first bet is covered up to $1,500. If the bet loses, you receive your stake back in the form of bonus bets up to $1,500. Fanatics insures your first bets of the day across your first 10 days with the sportsbook. Those bets are covered up to $100 each, meaning if you bet $100 as your first bet each day for 10 days and all 10 bets lose, you'd receive $1,000 in bonus bets back.

Caesars' promotion is one of profit boosts. After placing a first bet of at least $1, your next 10 bets receive 100% profit boosts. The maximum wager for each of those 10 bets is $25, while the maximum additional winnings for each token is $2,500.

Previewing the NFL Draft

As with every NFL Draft, all eyes are on the quarterbacks. It's widely expected that Miami's Cam Ward will go No. 1 overall to the Tennessee Titans, but it's unclear what else happens at quarterback in the first round. Colorado's Shedeur Sanders has long been viewed as the No. 2 quarterback in this class, but with QB-needy teams like the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants expected to draft other positions with the second and third overall picks, respectively, Sanders' draft stock is up in the air. Ole Miss' Jaxson Dart is seen by many as a potential first-round pick, while Alabama's Jalen Milroe is attending the first day of the draft, meaning he expects to be selected in the first round.

This year's draft is seen as a strong draft when it comes to depth, especially in the trenches. LSU's Will Campbell and Missouri's Armand Membou are both projected top-10 picks at offensive line, while Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter and Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham are also expected to go in the top 10.

Two other top stars of note are Colorado's Travis Hunter and Boise State's Ashton Jeanty. Those two finished first and second, respectively, in Heisman voting last season. Hunter is a bit of a unicorn considering he's a top talent at both wide receiver and cornerback. Many expect him to go No. 2 overall to Cleveland. Jeanty put up monster numbers at running back last year for the Broncos, and he's most commonly mocked to the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 5, Las Vegas Raiders at No. 6 or the Chicago Bears at No. 10.
