Jets quarterback Geno Smith showed flashes of solid play in Week 2 against the Patriots, but was ultimately downed by bad weather and poor decision-making in a 13-10 loss.
Smith's final numbers were not pretty, as he completed just 15 of 35 passes for 214 yards, but he had to battle a downpour in the second half along with a relentless pass rush by the Patriots' offense. He ultimately made too many mistakes, including throwing three interceptions, to doom a potential comeback bid late in the game.
Smith has one touchdown and four interceptions through his first two NFL games, while attempting at least 35 passes in each game. The Jets will take on the Bills in Week 3 at home.
