For the last two weeks Twitter has streamed NFL games live on Thursday night, but don't expect to find tonight's Dolphins-Bengals showdown on the social media platform. The game can be seen on the NFL Network and, if you happen to live in the Miami or Cincinnati markets, it will air on local CBS affiliates.

Twitter will resume streaming games on Oct. 6 for Week 5's tilt between the Cardinals and 49ers.

The game

As for those Bengals, they are sitting at 1-2 and need a win against the Dolphins. Luckily, help is on the way -- but maybe not as much as they'd like. Linebacker Vontaze Burfict's three-game suspension is over. According to an Associated Press report, the team was granted a three-day exemption that allows Burfict to resume football activities and he will be active Thursday.

"We'd have to lock him in a trunk if he didn't play, so yeah, Vontaze will play tonight," coach Marvin Lewis told SiriusXM NFL Radio on Thursday morning. "He's ready to go."

Lewis added, "He raises the level of everyone in the huddle and on the team," though the coach conceded that he wasn't sure how much Burfict would play. Either way, the linebacker is "raring to go."

Another key player who is close to returning is tight end Tyler Eifert, who had offseason ankle surgery. Eifert is listed as doubtful. As our Sean Wagner-McGough wrote this week, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said that Eifert will be a game-time decision. Don't expect him to beat the odds. As ESPN's Bob Holtzman reported, Eifert isn't expected to play.

The Dolphins also enter Thursday's game at 1-2 and are coming off their first win -- a 30-24 overtime victory over the hapless Browns. It was also the first victory for first-year head coach Adam Gase.

Miami is struggling to run the ball with injuries at running back and shuffling on the offensive line. The Dolphins rank 25th in rushing and 26th in third-down conversions. Also noteworthy: the Dolphins are hurting along the offensive line.

Left tackle Branden Albert (ankle) is questionable. Backup center Anthony Steen -- filling in for Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey -- hurt his ankle against the Browns. Right tackle Ja'Wuan James was benched in overtime last week due to his performance.

How Miami's line matches up against the Bengals' defensive front, namely defensive tackle Geno Atkins, could be very telling. Check out the full preview here.
