Jimmy Graham enjoyed another strong game Sunday for the Saints, but that served merely as a precursor to the playoffs.
Graham got wide open on the goal line late in the first quarter for a 10-yard score, his 16th of the season, placing him one short of the single-season record for tight ends set by Rob Gronkowski in 2011. Graham caught three passes for 51 yards in that quarter alone, but there was little need for quarterback Drew Brees to throw in the second half, when he added just one reception for 3 yards.
He finished the regular season leading all NFL tight ends with 86 receptions for 1,215 yards.
