Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins put together a huge performance in his first start of the season in Week 3, but he just feel short in a 37-34 loss to the Eagles.
Cousins led the team on five scoring drives in the game, and put together one of the most productive single-game performances in team history. Cousins passed for 427 yards in the game, the fourth-highest total in Redskins history. He completed 30 of 48 passes and racked up three touchdowns, but also threw a costly interception mid-way through the fourth quarter, his first of the season.
Cousins has impressed through his first two games, after taking over in relief last week. He has passed for 677 yards while completing 52 of 81 passes, with five touchdowns and one turnover. He will look for more success in Week 4 against the Giants, set for Thursday.
