The Chicago Bears shocked everyone on Thursday night by surrendering three picks to move up one slot in the first round and select North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. It was such an unexpected move that even Trubisky was caught by surprise.
Also surprised, and not exactly thrilled: Bears fans. At least, that's the case if we go by the reaction of the Chicago crowd at the Bulls-Celtics game on Friday evening, where Trubisky was greeted by a chorus of boos.
#Bulls fans booing QB Mitch Trubisky, who is in attendance. Wow. #Bears.

More boos than cheers for new #Bears QB Mitch Trubisky as he's shown on the video board at the United Center. He's here for the #Bulls game.

Seemed to be some cheers mixed in before his 10 seconds on the screen ended, but boos were definitely there.

Trubisky himself didn't seem to mind. The Bulls gave him a No. 10 jersey and he was all smiles.

And at least in the immediate surrounding section, the fans seemed to be enjoying Trubisky's presence.

Trubisky's going to be in Chicago for a while either way, and surely Bears fans will want to cheer him in the future.
