Raiders backup quarterback Matt McGloin relieved an injured Derek Carr in Week 4 against the Dolphins in London.
McGloin nearly played the entire second half and connected on a 22-yard touchdown pass to Andre Holmes in the fourth quarter. He was also intercepted by Jimmy Wilson and Walt Aikens. He converted 12 of 19 pass attempts for 129 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions in a 38-14 defeat.
The Raiders will head into a bye week. If Carr is unable to play in Week 6 at home against the Chargers, then McGloin could earn the start. Matt Schaub would also be a candidate to play against San Diego.
