The Colts have re-signed quarterback Josh Johnson, The Indianapolis Star reports.
The Colts released him after this past Sunday's win over the Jaguars, but with Matt Hasselbeck under the weather and Andrew Luck continuing to deal with a shoulder issue, Johnson was brought back in to give the team QB insurance in advance of Thursday's game against the Texans.
