Raiders safety Charles Woodson was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, Scott Blair of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area reports. He was seen stretching and participating in individual drills with the secondary. However, he wasn't wearing pads or a helmet.
Woodson dislocated his shoulder during a tackle Sunday against the Bengals and wasn't given an initial timetable to return. Woodson's activity during practice could be seen as a promising sign regarding his status for Sunday, but Blair cautions that would be a very optimistic view considering Woodson's age and the severity of the injury.
