Linebacker Miles Burris wrote on his Instagram that he has been released by the Raiders, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Burris started all 16 games for the Raiders last season and recorded 109 tackles, 76 of them solo. His release appears to be a casualty of Oakland going in a new direction with its coaching staff, as Burris was preferred by former defensive coordinator Jason Tarver.
