Browns linebacker Scott Solomon, who suffered what is likely a high ankle sprain in Week 1 loss against the Jets, is expected to miss 4-6 weeks, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Solomon's injury occurred on the fourth play from scrimmage Sunday, and he was later carted from the sideline to the locker room. With the loss of their run-stopping linebacker, the Browns went on to give up 154 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 36 carries. In the wake of Solomon's absence, Barkevious Mingo, Nate Orchard, and Armonty Bryant could see more action.
