Chargers linebacker Tourek Williams, who left Thursday's preseason game with an injury and was walking on crutches afterward, suffered a broken foot and will need surgery, according to NFL.com.
By most accounts, Williams was one of the team's most improved players in training camp, so the injury is a big blow to the third-year pro, who had registered 31 tackles and one sack so far in the NFL.
