Reviewing the offseason, coach Rex Ryan said that OL Vlad Ducasse and DL Kenrick Ellis are the two most-improved players. He said of Ellis, "As deep as our defense is, he's going to have to play [because he's so much better]." Ellis, the team's third-round pick in 2011 struggled to learn the system last year and played in only five total games.
