Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has been a frustrating Fantasy option in 2013 -- balancing out high-yardage games with few touchdowns (only one touchdown in each of his 300-plus yard games) or boosting low passing numbers with multiple scores (in his two sub-200 yard games, he threw multiple touchdowns). He has yet to put it all together.
To add to his worries, Tannehill will be playing without two offensive lineman, including All-Pro Richie Incognito.
Tannehill has been close to the 20-point Fantasy mark in nearly every game this season, but has yet to surpass it in eight tries. Week 10, against Tampa Bay, may be his best opportunity.
The Buccaneers have allowed 25 or more Fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in their last four games, yielding two or more passing touchdowns in each, as well as three rushing touchdowns over that span. While Tannehill isn't known for his rushing prowess, he can run for significant yards -- he has five career games of 25-plus rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns in two seasons.
Tannehill will probably struggle to hit the 20-point mark once again, but Week 10 at least offers a chance. Still, with so many factors working against him, Tannehill can be benched in most formats.
